Fall in love with this classic Georgia cabin in the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains. The back screened in porch overlooks wooden pine forest filled with wildlife; white tailed deer are daily visitors. The patio includes a propane grill as well as a propane fire pit to keep you warm on the chilly mountain nights. The rustic, newly built interior of the cabin frames all the comforts you'll need to feel at home during your mountain getaway. The property has a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. You're a quick drive away from the numerous surrounding lakes filled with endless Large Mouth Bass, Crappie and Catfish. You are just a short drive from the heart of downtown Blairsville, where you’ll find numerous restaurants and shopping. The general location of the cabin is off 325 and Hedgecock Rd very near to the Nottely Boat Club & Marina. GPS has some folks taking them around the mountain for some reason and the map shows location in downtown Blairsville, which it is not. The distance is about 12 minutes. It is also a short distance to Blue Ridge, Murphy North Carolina and Tennessee.
Details:
*Master Bedroom has queen size bed, with full bathroom, smart TV and a large window to view the gorgeous Georgia wildlife.
*Bedroom two is furnished with a queen size bed ,along with a smart TV and full bathroom with shower and tub, incase you have littles to bathe. As well as a large window to view the back yard.
*Kitchen is fully equipped to include Keurig coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots and pans for cooking needs. The large kitchen island makes a perfect place for family gatherings and has 3 barstools.
*Living Room includes a electric remote start fireplace, 2 reclining chairs and a sofa which includes a sleeper for two extra guests.
*Dinning room has large table with bench seating that can seat 6-8 people.
*The large back screened in porch is furnished with seating and small bistro table. We also have a propane grill for you use and a propane fire pit for cool family nights.
*Property is in a gated community with the gate open daily from 7am-7pm. After 7pm key pad entry is required via code, which is given on check in instructions.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Start the washer & dishwasher. Set temperature to 78 degrees during the summer and 55 degrees in the winter. Turn all ceiling fans off and flood lights off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please do not move furniture around. Beautiful floors do get scratched. Please do not blow out pilot light in the gas fireplace.
Our home is equipped with a Ring camera above the front door to help ensure safety during your stay. It only records the exterior.

The property was amazing and the location was great. The house was very clean, the washer and dryer worked great. It did get pretty cold so we did use the fireplace in the living room it was beautiful and it warmed the house up. The best feature had to be the deer. My husband and I had a great time and cant wait to come back.

Host was very attentive, enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch, loved seeing deer on the property in the morning and in the evening. Bed was very comfortable. Living room was large and had a very nice fireplace to cozy up to on a cold night. Kitchen was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Beautiful Cabin in North Georgia Mountains

The cabin is beautiful and well maintained- love the screened in back deck and of course the wildlife - had at least 8 deer visit one evening. Both beds are high for shorter folks (we are 5’3’, 5’1” and 5’6”) but very comfortable.

Our family has owned a home in the Blue Ridge mountain area for the last 10 plus years. We are Florida residents and fell in love with the Georgia mountains on our first family visit. Shortly thereafter we purchased our first "Georgia Cabin" for our families use, summer and holiday getaways from the chaos of work life and summer heat in Florida. We sold that home with plans to build our forever retirement "Georgia Cabin" on property we purchased in early 2019. It only took a short while between selling one home and waiting to build another, that we missed Georgia and needed an interim home in the area to stay while the building of ours commenced. Which lead to the purchase of this home. This has been our summer/vacation home for the last year or so. We have moved into our forever "Georgia Cabin" beginning of this year, and we have decided to keep this one to share the spirit of the Blue Ridge Mountains that we love with everyone we can. We spend majority of the summer in the mountains and weeks or months here and there; whenever we get a chance. We are not far from the cabin when we are in the area and love to share all our favorites with all of you. Come get away from the hustle and bustle life brings and relax with us. Enjoy boating, hiking, fishing, zip lining, swimming in the lakes or just soaking up the sun and fresh air.
