Fightingtown Creek Retreat, Real log cabin sitting above rushing creek ,

Real log cabin over looking rushing creek . The cabin is semi- private, yet close to everything.We are with in 7 miles of Lake Blue Ridge, the old town shops ,scenic railroad,river rafting,zip lining and lots of hiking trails. We have two bedrooms up stairs and two baths and one bed and bath downstairs. Two decks overlooking creek, fire pit outside,fireplace inside . We have a grill on porch, we also have wifi , board games , The creek is very dangerous to get in and fish so we do not allow people in creek , but have a observation deck you can sit on and enjoy the sounds and view, There is a lot of places near you can go fish,

Guys weekend in the mountains

Our stay was great. We decided to take a last minute trip to the mountains to ride for the weekend. We trailered due to the rain, but we had one good, dry day of riding and enjoyed the rest of the weekend in the truck. The cabin was very nice, very clean, the driveway was easy for a trailer and motorcycles, and it was close to town. Will definitely plan another guys weekend at this property. Reasonably priced and good all around. Hearing the water rushing from the creek below was nice as we sat on the back porch.

Cozy! The weather was cold, stormy, then perfect. The cabin suited us every day. The fireplace was wonderful on the cold and stormy days. We had a very pleasant stay. The cabin had everything we needed.

Exactly what I wanted

There is zero cell service here, except for one corner of the patio where I got one bar. Normally, this would be a complaint, but it's exactly what I needed from this vacation. No choice but to disconnect and read a book by the fire. Wonderful weekend.

Mama's birthday/ girl trip

We absolutely feel in love with this property! Immaculately clean and everything provided. It was spacious and private. The ghost was very gracious and easy to work with. Replies were received in a timely manner when messaged. The setting was absolutely wonderful with the sound of the water and the peacefulness. Definitely one to "do over".

Cabin was one of the best I have rented. Appreciate all of the attention to detail with all of the extras.. Location was great for excursions to all of North Georgia’s mountains. Your cleaning crew is top notch. Thank you for a great week.

Beautiful home and setting

We loved staying here. The stream was so calming to listen to! The house is only about 10 mins from town, So it was very convenient. The stairs are pretty steep for the basement bedroom. But other than that we really loved the cabin!!

Enjoyable GA Stay

My husband and I just spent a week here with another couple, their 17 yr old son, and our dogs. The home was cute and cozy, and it had everything we needed. There was ample space for us, and we loved the small touches that the cabin had. We were able to make our meals, and even the pots and pans were in good condition, which is rare in most of the places we've stayed. Bonus, they have both a coffee maker and Keurig! We did have a few concerns, which is in no way a reflection of the cabin itself and owners. 1. Cleanliness - while everything appeared clean on the surface, everytime a dog toy went under one of the (lifted) beds or chair, we pulled out what looked like another creature with the toy. In addition, on the smaller bed downstairs we found 2 blood pressure pills. While we get not remaking an unused bed, simply running a hand over the bed would have found the pills. There are also dead and live bees in the light just above the beds downstairs. 2. Beware of the neighbor across the creek. He claims to own the whole section of the creek, stating you can't fish there, which isn't true. 3. When walking the dogs off the property, be aware of drivers flying down the dirt road. None of the concens negatively impacted our trip. We really evjoyed our stay and would recommend the cabin.

Cozy Cabin

Cabin was very cozy and extremely well furnished. I've stayed in hundreds of cabins and love the way the owner leaves items in the cabinets for use. That is a A+++++ as we left several items in return. Cabin is very well located and close to Blue Ridge, clean and had very nice scenery. If you're looking for a nice priced cozy getaway, you can't go wrong with this cabin!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Week!

We had a great week, celebrating Thanksgiving as well as a surprise engagement! Each of us loved staying at this cabin. We are thankful for it being pet-friendly as well! Basic kitchen items were well provided for us to have everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed eating outside on the porch a couple of times. Would have been more, except it was cold! Thank you, Eddie, for providing such a wonderful place to stay in the mountains.

Relaxing cabin with roaring creek.

Nice relaxing cabin in a quiet area. It's a climb down the to creek, but the sound of rushing water is nice, and you can sit on a bench just above the edge of the creek. Nice decks to hang out on that are covered and plenty of amenities in the kitchen.

Perfect Getaway

Great location! Short drive to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Property is secluded and very quiet located right on a creek. Cabin was very clean and has everything you will need for your stay.

Great Family Vacation

We vacationed at this property this week with our son and daughter-in-law, as well as their month-old infant, and we all enjoyed the stay. With comfy beds, decks (with loungers!) on both floors, a grill, a fire pit, and the sound of the rushing water, it's exactly what we needed. Oh, and the place was super clean! I can gladly recommend it!

Great cabin with awesome decks

We really enjoyed this cabin, we loved the deck and fire pit area and being able to grill and eat dinner outside even in the rain without getting wet. The cabin was well stocked with toilet paper and soaps, dish detergent, laundry supplies and towels
