Great spot right on the river. Clean. Easy check in and check out. Remote enough to feel like you are on vacation, but a short drive to anything you need.

The description was everything that was promised. It's a beautiful location right on the water. The house was very clean and perfect for our stay. The host communicated well and responded promptly to all our messages. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fish Trap. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed to settle in and make it “home” for our vacation. The proximity to the beautiful river, excellent fishing right outside the front door, while still convenient to town made it the ideal spot.

This rental is AMAZING! Came here for my husband 50th birthday and it DID NOT disappoint! He was able to fly fish to his hearts delight and the hot tub was the icing on top! Beautiful place here and right on the water!

Nice and comfortable. Didn’t use the hot tub the weather was a little cool for me. Only thing that my wife wasn’t satisfied with was the master bed wasn’t comfortable enough for her. I on the other hand slept in one of the other rooms because I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP, and was satisfied with the comfort of the bed I slept in.

Great place… just as advertised… the house is nice and very clean but the real attraction is the property itself… my family loved the riverside platform and the fire pit especially…also enjoyed waving at passengers as the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad train ambled by although some might not like being that close to the tracks. My only negative isn’t about the property, but the extremely narrow and rugged one lane road leading to the property… you’ll leave the pavement about 1/2 mile from the home and travel down a very rough and rocky road to the bottom… if you meet up with someone in between, good luck…that’s not the fault of the home owner but if you have a truck, take it and leave the car behind

Everything was really nice! The view of the river was beautiful, the home was stocked with everything you need and the owner was easy to contact with any questions. The only advice I would give is to drive a vehicle that is not low to the ground and has all wheel drive because the road to get to the property had some steep areas in gravel. Our stay was great!

We spent a wonderful week at this property. It was clean, cozy and very welcoming. The house was clean and had everything we needed for the week. Being right on the river was the icing on the cake. I had a couple questions and Brian got right back to me. The entrance to the river was easy and there wasnt loads of steps to go down. We loved playing corn hole and the hot tub was fabulous. We will definitely be back again.

This place was great. Even better than expected. The river area was perfect for us and the kids and grandkids. Shallow enough to play in in the mornings and afternoons and the when they let the water out and the river rose a few feet the adults did a little Kayaking. The covered deck was nice for the few rain showers we got. We sat out there and played board games. Thanks so much for a wonderful family vacation.

This is a great place to stay. Beautiful by the crystal clear River. We enjoyed the hot tub and just relaxing on the porch listening to the River. Plenty of outdoor seating. We highly recommend.
Morning coffee on the deck was my favorite.

My stay was excellent! Loved the location and the closeness to both Blue Ridge Georgia and McCaysville / Copperhill Tennessee. Will book again soon. Time stood still for us. No hustle and bustle. (Clock in the kitchen needs a new battery) Haha.

Our family of 6 enjoyed the home and area! My son who loves fishing was in the water most of the time! It felt far away but stores and restaurants were nearby. I bet this place is just beautiful during the fall with all the trees around!
