We had a wonderful time! The house was great and all we expected. It is well stocked with everything we needed. The decor in the house is great and we loved looking and checking it all out.
We were searching for a cabin that was clean, cozy, and welcoming. This was every bit of that! The gas fireplace was so warm and relaxing. We didn't use the wood fireplace just because the gas was so easy. The screen porch is very inviting and relaxing. You can hear the water in the creek below. The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the firepit a couple of nights and that was fun, too. We would definitely come again!
Absolutely gorgeous cabin very close to Blue Ridge with great views of the river. You can tell the owners took great care in decorating as there is something interesting in every corner. Owner very rrsponsive and has most everything you need there. Looking forward to coming back
We'd absolutely stay here again. There were so many fun and quirky things to explore throughout the cabin, and we loved sitting outside listening to the water.
From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable, relaxed, and pampered. The cabin is amazing!
The cabin was beautifully decorated and well appointed with all the amenities you could need. It was close to area attractions but we also enjoyed just relaxing in front of the fire and sitting on the back porch listening to the river. We hope to visit again-it was a lovely vacation!
Birdsong is immaculately kept. The house sits above Fightingtown Creek and the daybed on the screened porch is perfect for letting the sound of the creek lull you to sleep. The master has one of the most comfortable beds ever. The peace and quiet was wonderful. The house is stocked with everything you might need for your stay. I look forward to coming back
We enjoyed our stay very much at Birdsong Cabin. The decor was really nice and the cabin was very well appointed. Everything you need. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms updated and very nice. We stayed with our adult children and enjoyed the cabin very much.

Cozy cottage by the creek
The cabin was cozy and had everything you needed. I enjoyed hearing the creek as I relaxed on the screen patio. Lots to do close by. I miss it already!
Beautiful location, conveniently located just a few minutes from Blue Ridge and McCaysville, Ga.
The interior is clean and works well. The screened back porch is very nice over looking the trees and Creek— beautiful and quiet for reading! The surrounding deck is in need of replacement.
We enjoyed staying at Birdsong! The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed. Listening to the river from the screened-in porch was so peaceful and relaxing. The road where the cabin is located is very quiet. We enjoyed walking down the road by the river. We even got in the river to do some fishing. I would rent this cabin again.
Super quiet. Water rushing in the back. Plenty of room to time spread out. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Caring owners. Will be back! Highly recommend!!!
This property was very sweet. I love all of the nostalgia peppered throughout and the coziness of the home. I wish there were a few more outdoor lights because it definitely gets dark there, but otherwise, my husband and I really enjoyed our time at this property and hope to get back someday soon!
We had the most wonderful ladies weekend at Birdsong! The cabin has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back porch reading, chatting, and listening to the creek. The gas fireplace was easy to operate and the house just felt so cozy from the moment you stepped in. Everything was clean and easy to find. We can't wait to come again!
My fiancé and I checked in on 8/30/19 and checked out on 9/2/2019. I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate the Vrbo ad was in quality. Tom and Lynn’s Cabin was absolutely stunning. Someone needs a second career as an interior decorator.
Tom was super hopeful when placing the welcome call. They even provided information on water fall chasing, sites to see, places to eat. Check out instructions were simple and clear. Couldn’t have asked for a better hospitality.

Wonderful mountain home outside of Blue Ridge
We stayed at Birdsong near Blue Ridge for a full week for our summer vacation. The cabin is situated on a hill above a roaring creek and is literally surrounded by trees. It has modern conveniences but also decorated with such charm and personality. My wife and 2 young children really felt at home.
We spent the majority of our time on the wonderful screened in porch with a view of the FightingTown creek below. The soothing sound of the creek below was like a constant relaxing sound machine. Birds would sing in the morning and crickets and cicadas at night. I took several naps on the day bed out on that porch, and we ate most of our meals out there.
We were looking for a serene, relaxing cabin for a retreat in Blue Ridge, and that's exactly what Birdsong is. Thanks Tom and Lynn for sharing your mountain home with us!
This cabin was just perfect- beautifully decorated, had everything we needed to cook meals each day, the sound of the river was relaxing from the sleeping porch, king master and queen beds were very comfortable and everyone had their own bathroom. There was plenty of heat, the gas fireplace was simple, ample room for everyone. The drive was easy and driveway easy to manage. I can’t say enough great things about this perfect cabin and didn’t want to leave. The owner was very responsive- I was concerned about a snow and ice storm approaching, he called me and was so kind, he immediately shifted our trip days with no difficulty at the last minute. I couldn’t believe this cabin wasn’t booked because it is so perfect. The location is close to trails, downtown Blue ridge, etc. We will surely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!
Girls trip! Spent 4 nights in this charming cabin. Beautifully decorated, clean & comfortable. It was a little too chilly for us to use the screened in back porch or any of the multiple decks. But we did enjoy both fireplaces at night. Location was perfect. Not far from town where the train is, which we enjoyed riding, and there is an apple orchard near by as well as a few wineries, water falls if your into hiking, and a day trip to Helen for October fest. Thoroughly enjoyed our time! Definitely recommend this cabin for a cozy weekend retreat or a home base when exploring the area.
Here we are with our two beautiful and talented daughters.
We have always dreamed of our own getaway and rented for years. We had ideas of how the experience could be improved and are now giving it a try for ourselves.
Why they chose this property
This was a cabin we saw on the first day looking. It had all the cozy charm we were looking for and incredible potential. We fell in love with it immediately!
What makes this property unique
Off the beaten path but so close to everything. The short gravel road puts you in the middle of the woods where the quite and solitude can be enjoyed.
