On the partly open terrace you will enjoy the sun during the day and spend beautiful evenings on vacation. In the living room is also a wood-burning stove that crackles with a warming fire on cool evenings. On the 1200 m² natural ground you have plenty of space to play. Nearby is a wonderful swimming beach with dunes, and in the garden is a windbreak. You can spend your free time in many different ways. In the small harbor of Rørvig there is fish smokehouse, and from here the ferry goes to Hundested, from where you can quickly reach Copenhagen. On the glacial headland of Odsherred you will feel like you are in a geopark. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses of the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of a forest village in Ulkerup abandoned 300 years ago, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the Trundholm Mose bog. You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to go on troll and fox excursions. Your children will also be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. Nearby, visit Sommerland Sjælland, galleries that are also typical of Odsherreds and Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century. Havnebyen is the only real fishing harbor with cutters and a small smokehouse. Even recreational fishermen always get something on the hook here. In Nykøbing Sjælland you can do good shopping and enjoy the coffee house life. Seal safaris also depart from the harbor in Rørvig. From Rørvig you can sail to Hundested, from here it is only an hour's drive to Copenhagen. Enjoy smoked fish here while your children catch crabs on the pier.
