Great stay in Last Chance where we enjoyed all the surrounding sites including Yellowstone, Mesa Falls and kayaking on Henry's Fork. Two Moons was a great cabin, nicely appointed with a great deck.
The property was exactly as advertised. A great place to stay. Yellowstone entrance is close enough to make the visit there easy. There are a few restaurants and a grocery store nearby, with the Last Chance Texaco convince store and gas station within a short drive or walk. One of the best rentals we have had through VRBO.
This cabin has plenty of room and in a quiet location! It was very comfortable - we loved eating breakfast out on the deck! Our family visited Yellowstone and it was a great jump off place near the river - we saw lots of fly fishing happening! You definitely won’t regret staying here!
The cabin was so very nice. We walked in and were amazed at the condition and care in cleanliness and organization.
Everything we needed. The only issue was there was no cell or internet service to help plan our excursions.
Beautiful place unfortunately neighborhood roads are not well kept. Small glitch, need advance instructions for locking door and that it is different door key code works on.
We have stayed at this property a few times in the fall. It is always enjoyable, very clean, modern, and a comfortable stay. This time the Internet got knocked out by a storm and did not come back on for the rest of the visit. Not a fault of the property itself; just know that the Internet and phone signal can go in and out. My only thing about the property that I’ve noticed a few times since we’ve been coming back is that the kitchen garbage can step is broken so you have to lift the lid by hand, which is kind of gross sometimes. But other than that, it is a wonderful cabin and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Stayed here as it was a great location for access to hiking and Yellowstone. We don’t fly fish but this is an excellent location for that and did enjoy crossing the street (actual highway but easy to walk across) and watch the people fly fishing. Overall, a good location but the cabin area had a lot of construction going on. It was not noisy from the construction but dusty and a bit hard to walk the dogs. So that is why I gave the neighborhood 4 stars. This did not ruin the stay and the cabin is very charming.
We really enjoyed our two-week stay in Two Moons. The location was perfect for fishing, the cabin had everything we needed and was in excellent condition, the firm beds were very comfortable, the windows and natural light were awesome, loved the sunset views from the deck, enjoyed the thoughtful decor and interactions with both the home owner and the property management company were a great experience. Since the set up has the two bedrooms separated by the kitchen, dining and living areas, it was perfect for two adult couples. Additionally, internet connection was very reliable while we were there, enabling us to work remotely, when needed. One of the best VRBOs we've rented and would definitely stay again!
The home itself was lovely, spacious and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The surrounding area was almost completely commercial and unkempt with deeply rutted dirt approach. The house was situated next to a similar driveway which was not particularly quiet when in use by adjoining residence. It was a shame because the house itself was truly lovely.
Let me start by saying that I almost did not book this property due to some of the reviews regarding the hard bed and the dryer not working. Beds are AMAZING. I hate a really firm mattress and these were definitely not firm. They mold your body and are heaven after a long day at the park. The dryer does dry but if you put in a large load you have to dry it twice. Wonderful prompt communication from management. Loved this cozy cabin and hope to be in the area again so we can stay here again.
Service provided by the property's management was stellar- prompt, kind, and she went above and beyond in our time of unexpected need. THANK YOU! The house was stocked well and provided plenty of space. We were VERY disappointed to find that there were no storage areas for our clothes, tho. When getting a Vrbo, most people will be there long enough to deem unpacking. Living out of a suitcase for 9 days was a bit of a bummer.
Dog-friendly? Yes, but the yard was severely overgrown when we got there. After writing, someone DID show up the next day to weed eat. That meant that none of the cut grass and weeds were collected. It made outside time for our small dogs very difficult.
This property IS on a gravel road. There’s plenty of room for a trailer and car to park in front.
The cabin was just as described. Clean, comfortable and close to Yellowstone. The beds were comfy and the neighborhood quiet. Our only complaint would be the loudness of the ac/heater unit. It was a nice anniversary weekend and a first trip to Yellowstone for our kids.
Nice place to stay. We entered the west entrance to Yellowstone NP, which is about 30 miles north. Since we were early October, lots of businesses had starting closing for the season, so be prepared to bring what you need or travel about 15 miles and pay exorbitant prices for groceries. Also, we reported the dryer and dishwasher as having problems, but no one ever came to check. We made do but the office did not respond as promised. The facilities are very nice, spacious, side porch is comfortable. Inside there are no clothes closets or dressers, so you live out of your suitcase. Well insulated and cozy!
