We spent five nights at Rosebud cabin and enjoyed the beautiful views of the meadow from the screened porch. We loved the space and were very comfortable.
We enjoyed our short stay at the cabin. It was a modest cabin that could use some refurbishing, yet very clean and the owner was gracious and friendly. When the internet wasn't working, she was quick to respond which was very appreciated.
We loved the cottage, however, due to the VRBO site making a huge mistake, we weren't able to stay. We left the same day we got there. Olivia who is the host was incredibly supportive and went above and beyond to get us a full refund. Thanks so much Olivia!

Thank you for reaching out and letting me remedy this error.
Loved the little cabin and plan to return. The view of the field and the screened-in porch were highlights. Also, enjoy being a bit away from the bustle of the national park. A few more items in the kitchen would help, such as dish and wash cloths. A bit more detail on the maps such as stating no signage exists for some sideroads would drive home how important to is keep track of the kms. Just my kind of getaway and my dog loved also. Thanks for all.
Cabin an property were wonderful, 2 out of 3 days an nights we had 7 guys drinking all hours with noise into early moring hours. No fires allowed they brought fire pit an drug wood out of the surrounding bush. There went hopes of a quiet stay or seeing wildlife, seemed no caretaker near the site to straighten problems out. Late day was beautiful an quite!
This little, cozy cabin was a perfect get-away for my kids and me. Clean and quaint, with everything you might need for a few days’ stay. The wifi was a bonus - but as advertised, cell service is patchy to nil. The roads from the main highway to the cabin are definitely “back roads”. Certainly passable, but lots of twists and turns, trees and brush - watch for cattle and wildlife! Thanks for the peaceful get-away!
We had a great time enjoying nature, the location was perfect. Very peaceful. Would recommend if you are wanting to detox from city life.

About the host
Hosted by Olivia Merfeld
My husband and I have been running Crooked Mountain Cabins since the summer of 2021, following our marriage in April of 2021. We took over from the previous owners, who had been running the business for 12 years.
Why they chose this property
We were initially drawn to the property’s peaceful setting and raw natural beauty. The spacious landscape will allow us to one day build a home on site, living close to nature and raising our children while hosting interesting people from all over the world.
