Convenient and comfortable. Beautiful views.
The house and the location are wonderful. The view is amazing. The house was very clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook if you want to cook while you stay here, but it could use some better knives and a non stick skillet. The beds are very comfortable and the linens were very nice. We would definitely stay here again.
We visit Kiawah every year and always try to stay in Indigo Point (which is where this home is located). Proximity to sanctuary, beaches, parks is ideal with a short bike ride. Home was as advertised, and we would love to stay here again!

We LOVED our stay at this property. The house is so beautiful - such a lovely place to be. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms beautiful and clean, and the kitchen has high end appliances - and everything we needed. The style of the home is so pretty - light and airy with huge windows overlooking amazing views of the marsh. We LOVED how dog friendly the house and the entire ilsand of kiawah is as well. Would love to stay here again - such a treat!

Reviewer Comments:
Lovely home, though the beach was further away than we thought, which wasn't ideal. Traffic getting on/off the island was also kind of stressful and unexpected. But the house itself was great, pool was excellent, beautiful kitchen with all the amenities, a nice grill, comfortable deck furniture and great birdwatching. Master bathroom bathtub and shower were both incredible. A nice bonus was finding bicycles and helmets in the garage, as well as assorted beach gear.

House and furnishing are in poor condition generally. Mold inches from children’s bunk bed.

Thank you so much for the feedback and we apologize your stay wasn't completely enjoyable. We have had an unusually damp summer season and that does not help with mildew that can accumulate especially near vents and AC ductwork due to condensation. It is mildew and we did wipe it clean and it is harmless fortunately. The home was recently purchased and moved from another rental agency, the new homeowners have a lot of plans to get the house up to tip top shape this off season, we hope you will try it again once the work is completed.
This is a beautiful home with a great pool. However the gutters should be cleaned as the pine needles were overflowing into the pool. We could also tell pets live in the home as it could have been a little cleaner. Also disclosing that Information, specifically that cats have been in the house, would be helpful to those who have allergies.

Reviewer Comments:
We were there for a week for my daughter's wedding and it was an ideal spot that gave us quiet away from the activities, yet close enough to access Kiawah's offerings easily. It's a very pretty house and the deck area. The table was filthy with something that we couldn't remove so that was disappointing but the view over the march is wonderful. The kitchen supplies were rather random. E.g., there was only one teaspoon, no toaster, no non-stick pans, and only 3 regular coffee mugs. If you enjoy coffee, you are covered with multiple ways to make it! The person answering the phone at the management company was not friendly when I extended our stay twice. Not the best face for the company. Huge garage with stuff to do down there, but we didn't use it. Couch was all torn up by what looked like a cat. Temperature in house was great. Good lightening. I'd go back, but probably in the spring before it's been used hard all summer.
We were very disappointed in our stay at this home and the PM company’s care. The overall cleanliness of the home was not good-there was dust, bugs, and animal hair all throughout the floors of the home, including a bug in my son’s bed. The deck outside and furniture was covered in pine needles. The cookware at the home was absolutely not up to par - there was 1 non-stick frying pan, no kitchen tongs (only grilling), there was literally only one sharp knife and one oven mitt. Upon arrival to the home the shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and most important, hand soap dispensers were not full, and the hand soap dispensers were actually filled with water (for all but 1). The PM did bring at my request amenity soaps, etc. and dropped them at the front porch. I told them not to worry about coming to refill them as we did not want to be inconvenienced yet I got a text a day later from the PM saying that Layne would be coming by to refill them - we were about to go golfing and were inconvenienced by his visit. During the visit he realized there was no hand soap for refill; he left and there was no communication/follow-up on getting hand soap. The Viking stove oven was finicky and not working properly and we elected not to have it repaired as we did not want to be inconvenienced again. The day we were departing the home there was a small leak from the refrigerator through the freezer and onto the kitchen floor. For the price we paid and what we got we don’t recommend anyone stay here!

Thank you so much for your feedback. We at ESPM appreciate any feedback, both positive and negative, as it helps us provide the best possible guest experience. This home is a pet friendly home, we welcome our guests to bring along their furry family member. As such animal hair can be present, it is difficult to get rid of it completely given the limited time in summer we have between guests. But we have spoken about it with housekeeping and have a pet fee to help pay for extra housekeepers in the future. The homeowners are green-conscience and offer large refillable bottles instead of the hotel style but they are in a locked closet so we must go into the home to refill them I'm afraid, I do apologize this was an inconvenience but you had contacted our service about not having packed those items so we wanted to ensure you had them for your use. I will speak with inspectors about ensuring those are refilled more regularly. We have had all appliances inspected by a tech and all are working well, very high end nice appliances, the freezer door does need to be closed securely or the moisture from condensation can leak onto the floor, that is what you witnessed happening the last day of your stay. All is working well and we'll ensure the house is refilled and cleaned properly in the future, thank you again!

Wonderful experience, great location. The dehumidifier in A/C did not work unless temp set at 70-72 degrees. The upholstery stayed damp feeling throughout our stay and even the cereal boxes became damp. Also, there were dust bunnies in several rooms and red ants in the sessil rug in the den.
We rented the 2013 HGTV Dream Home and it did not disappoint. We visited the house with two families consisting of 4 adults (two couples) and 4 kids. At first glance, I thought the house was going to be a tight fit, but it ended up being quite spacious. The entry hall was fabulous with its welcoming bench seating and access to the largest powder room I have ever seen. The main living area, dining room, and kitchen had plenty of room and we never felt like we were crowded. The living room pictures on the site show a TV-less room, but believe me there is a very large TV in the space. The views from the two story space were spectacular and the deck and pool were used heavily during our stay. The pool was in a great location, which allowed the water to remain a good temperature throughout the day. The basement level has bed swings and a ping pong table which we were not able to use as much as we would have liked during our stay. The master bedroom was well appointed as well as the two ensuites upstairs which worked out for the 2 oldest girls and the other couple. The two youngest kids really enjoyed the bunk bed alcove area and viewed it as their special hangout. We stayed 7 days and would love to stay there again. 8 was a perfect number especially if half of them are kids.
