Enjoy view of waves breaking on Wailua beach, a favorite among kite surfers, and watch the Wailua river flow into the bay. Relax to the sound of surf, breathe fresh ocean air and spend a quiet evening admiring the moonlight glistening on the water or discovering stars in the night sky.
Wailua Bay View condos are located in Kapa’a, on the East coast of Kauai. The central location is ideal for visits to Waimea Canyon, Poipu, but also Hanalei and Northshore beaches. Papaloa beach is only a few steps away and shops and restaurants of Kapa’a are within walking distance. The east shore of Kauai offers surfing, swimming, beaches, hiking trails (Sleeping Giant), biking (8-mile Ke Ala Hele Makalae path), golf (Wailua municipal golf course), kayaking on the Wailua river and more. Great condo right on the ocean! Clean, easy to access, parking comes with VRBO reservation. Everything we needed was there. Had a great time!

Nice unit in a great location. We enjoyed the great view and the complex has a nice pool that wasn’t overcrowded, like many can be. It was hot and humid with low trade winds when we were there so it was nice to have the air conditioning units to lower the temperature a few degrees in the unit.

Wonderful Oceanfront Stay

Enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the lanai every morning. Beach chairs, cooler, in-unit laundry, AC units in the living room and bedroom, and Roku TV were great to have! Would stay here again!

A million dollar view

Everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay, especially the view. Most of our time was spent on the lanai, watching the surf and the surfers. Although we Checked in around midnight, everything was smooth. The location was convenient, walking distance to restaurants and shopping.It was nice to have the air conditioning, especially during the late afternoons when it got a little warm.

Beautiful view!

This condo is located centrally, making it easy to get to the north and south shores. We spent a lot of time on the back deck watching the ocean, surfers, and Kauai chickens. This place had everything we needed. There were a few places that didn’t seem to be cleaned when we arrived, but we easily cleaned up and enjoyed our week there. The ocean view was tranquil and made our stay so enjoyable!

Great condo overlooking the shore. Well appointed and just right for a couple. We enjoyed our stay very much!Be aware - there is no elevator and there is some road noise in the bedroom.

Stunning property- super nice owner

We had a simply amazing stay here in Kauai. Ilse The owner is extremely communicative and had great recommendations. The property is super clean, and appeared a brand new AC unit had been added in living space and one in the bedroom that cools the space very well if AC is a typical worry you won’t have that problem here! The apartment was well appointed with everything you would need for beach trips (a tube some boogey boards and some beach chairs, along with fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Really a great location too with many restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive away. If we come back to Kauai we would certainly look into properties that she owns. The view really says it all!

Wonderful stay!

This is an excellent location! The ocean is so close you have shut the patio door to hear the TV. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beach chairs and umbrella were greatly appreciated. We would absolutely stay here agin!

Amazing ocean views and convenient location

As advertised, great ocean views! And we had rainbows over the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped and the air conditioning in the bedroom was an added bonus! The location was very convenient with access to river kayaking nearby and the airport. We would definitely stay here again!

Oceanfront condo, great location!

Nice oceanfront condo, comfortable and great location on the east coast. Amenities are great. The only downside for us was the lack of air conditioning in the entire unit. It was very warm during our stay and winds were not blowing in thru the patio. Overall a nice condo in a great location. We loved hearing the waves crashing on the shoreline!!

Condo was as described, beautiful view. Condo was well stocked with whatever we needed. Self check in so if you have questions there is no one to help. There was a tree being taken down while we were there so parking was a problem & it was very noisy. One day the on site manager let herself right into the condo when we were there without our permission, that was a little disturbing.

Amazing view

Beautiful view and pool grounds. The condo has lovely Hawaiian style furnishings with a balcony facing the water- perfect for relaxing. Very clean and except for the flooring nicely updated. The bed was quite confortable with nice linens. We got in too tired to shop so appreciated having coffee available for the following morning. I had a few questions and our host answered quickly. We were provided with great directions from the airport and how to check in. There were even boogie boards and other beach items and towels. I liked that it was quiet unlike the crazy busy huge resorts.

Second time at this condo complex

We stayed in another unit several years ago and knew that we wanted to come back. The view can't be beat for the price. The condo although dated, was immaculate and well supplied.

Stunning ocean front views!

We loved staying at this condo, it was hard to leave it. The views from the lanai were absolutely stunning. There was plenty of beach gear which was much appreciated! The bed was super comfortable. Since no one was checking in the day we checked out the host was very accommodating letting us leave our luggage while we went and did a tour. The only downside was 4 pm check in felt late compared to others, but we will be back!

Amazing view! Don’t miss this gem.

The sound of the waves will relax you as you sip your beverage of choice on the lanai. The location is central so you can go north or south on day trips as you wish. We did Hanalei and tunnels beach, strolling through Kapaa, kayaking the Wailua river, Poipu, and the Waimea canyon. Go to the free hula show at Coconut Marketplace. Nice cold A/C in the bedroom. We hope to be back!

Great location, minor inconveniences

Most prominent inconvenience is absents of soundproofed windows in the bedroom. Windows look toward very active road, where traffic starts at 5 am, this makes it pretty hard to sleep in the morning on weekdays. Some of adjacent apartments fixed this, but this one is not. Other to this, everything was pretty great. Location close to the ocean and many restaurants nearby, makes stay very convenient.

Gorgeous View!

The view from the balcony/patio is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I really enjoyed eating our breakfast out there and watching the surfers. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. There was an issue with it being very warm in the condo. The owner was quick to respond to my message. We purchased a second fan which we left at the condo to help cool the condo. I would also recommend they fix the shower door so you don't have to use a bungee cord to hold the door close. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and it is a great location on the island.

Very relaxing

We had a very nice stay. Location, view, accessibility- all exactly what we were looking for. Clean enough that we felt comfortable walking around in bare feet/socks... Very comfortable bed, and AC in the bedroom was nice. It did take a bit to find the cooking pans- they are in the drawer under the oven... Kitchen well stocked with necessities... Complex management very friendly and helpful. I am always a bit leery of having neighbors above us, but never heard a peep from any neighbors. Nice beaches within very easy walking distance. Yes, we would certainly stay here again!

Wailua Bay View is part of Kapa'a, a historical town centrally located in Kauai. We love the bike path for walking along Wailua Beach and across the Wailua River to Lydgate Park and golf club. We enjoy walking the other direction towards Kapa'a with its restaurants and shops. Hiking is close by (Sleeping giant).

What makes this property unique

Wailua Bay View is centrally located, and an easy drive from the airport. Great location for day trips both to Poipu and Waimea Canyon in one direction, or Northshore and Hanalei in the other direction.
