Decent unit but internet doesn’t work consistently. A bigger deal is that according to the local on-premise management company (we talked to two people), this unit no longer has access to a shared communal hot tub which was high disappointing to us and conflicts with the description in the listing.
Loved this place, had everything we needed and more! Amazing location

Great stay for larger groups!
If you like being close to the market and right along the Main Street in Telluride, this is a great place to stay! The condo has a great kitchen and living area, and plenty of space to hang out. A great stay for a large family or group!
We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was a bit difficult to find but other than that we had no issues with check in.

Great Girls weekend stay
The condo was great for our group of 9, lots of space in the living room and dining area. The location is perfect, about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown, very quiet and cozy.
This 4 bedroom condo is perfect for large groups. The open plan living area was perfect for gathering. The ski lift, grocery store and downtown Telluride are a short walk away. We loved our time here and look forward to coming back.
The condo was perfect for our two families. Everything was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Communication was seamless as the broken toaster was replaced same day. Location was a short walk to lift 7 or hop on the free bus to get around town. Our first time at Telluride and look forward to returning.

Spacious, Comfortable, and Perfect for a Girls Trip!
We stayed at the Smuggler condo in Telluride for a girls trip and absolutely loved it. The space was perfect for our group of five women. The beds were incredibly comfortable—the king bed is actually a California king, which was a nice surprise—and the pillows were great quality. The main living area was large and open, ideal for entertaining and relaxing together.
The kitchen was very well stocked, with everything we needed including coffee filters, spices, plenty of paper towels, and trash bags. It really made our stay feel seamless and stress-free. The only downside was there were just two wine glasses, which wasn’t ideal for a group.
One thing to note is that the bunk room has an exterior door that opens to a shared stairwell and doesn’t have a lock. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it could be a concern for families with small children.
Despite that, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this condo for a group getaway!

Hi Catherine,
Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your review. We’re thrilled to hear that the space was perfect for your group and that you found the beds and kitchen well-appointed. We appreciate your feedback regarding the limited number of wine glasses and the unsecured exterior door in the bunk room. We understand how these details can impact the experience, and we will be sure to share your comments with our local team to see how we can improve for future guests. It’s wonderful to know that despite these concerns, you had a fantastic getaway and would recommend the home. We truly value your kind words and look forward to the opportunity to host you and your friends again in the future.

Great space and location, but could use minor improvements
My husband and I stayed here for a week with several other couples and our 1-year-old. It was overall a great space, close to town and an easy walk from the nearest ski lift. Overall, the space was clean, but there were some mold and mildew issues in the steam shower and in the front-loading washer. Almost everyone in our group had planned to wash laundry at some point on the trip, but we had to clean and disinfect the washer before feeling comfortable to use it. At least one in our party completely avoided the steam shower (which is the only shower in the main bathroom). Both other bathrooms were only accessible through bedrooms, so this was inconvenient. There was also an issue with how the kitchen disposal was plumbed, leading to some unpleasant smells occasionally. We were also locked out of the shared hot tub room for a day. It seemed that someone had turned the deadbolt, and the concierge service wasn't able to help us with this until the next day. I realize this sounds like a lot of issues, but really we had a very pleasant stay. I mostly want to make sure the property manager is aware of these issues and addresses them, as they were all fairly minor.
**important, they only provide a "starter pack" of trash bags and expect you to purchase a box for the rest of your stay so bring some from home** We had a great time at this location. It was very close to the path to the gondola and very close to Clarks market (which was amazing). We were very impressed by the responsiveness of the staff for any issues or questions we had (with exception to being told we needed to purchase more trash bags). There is only one parking spot, but you can contact them to get a permit spot which was incredibly helpful.

Amazing KITCHEN and spacious
Everything about it there were a few things like only one parking spot but reasonable to park on the street.the kitchen and living area were my very favorite. The showers are hot and had great pressure. Wonderful
We had a group of 9 staying at the property.
The home was clean and had plenty of space for everyone to move around easily.
We also had plenty of space for all of our ski gear.
Walking distance to lift 7 and a short walk to the town.
The only thing disappointing was the hot tub wasn’t available, we were told it’s closed for the season, would have been really nice after long days of skiing.
Vacasa Concierge was hard to get a hold of, we were put on hold for a very very long time, even hung up a couple of times.
Before the trip, it took a couple of days to get an email reply.
Other than that I would highly recommend the rental.

Great location & very comfortable
This home is a wonderful place to stay in Telluride with a large group. The living room area is spacious and comfortable for hanging out and relaxing, with great views of the mountains. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking for a large group. The mud room has plenty of storage for ski gear for a big group. Beds are comfortable, lots of pillows, a humidifier in each room too.
Our group arrived late in the evening and figuring out parking for more than 1 car was difficult and confusing. The Vacasa team provided a phone number for local Telluride parking management - we had to call back in the morning to register a 2nd car to park on the streets. If you have a 3rd car - you're on your own to find parking in town in one of the lots. This information was not communicated up-front, but we had to go digging for it to find it out. After a long day of travel, it would be nice to have clear and accurate arrival instructions including parking guidance.

Great condo in an excellent location
Smuggler was a great retreat for our family of 7. Lots of space, smart layout, location within two blocks of a ski lift and a grocery store! The kitchen was well-stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and well-appointed. We loved our time there.
A small group of us stayed here in March 2021. Great location, just a short walk to Lift #7 or directly into town. It's also one block away from the grocery store which makes stocking up for your stay super convenient! The common area space and kitchen actually felt much larger than the pictures depicted. Two of the three bathrooms are accessed via a bedroom (the other two bedrooms share the common area bath). I'm not sure I would stay here with 12 people as it says it sleeps. 10 or less would be ideal. Everything else was as expected or better. Parking for more than one car is likely to be a challenge. We were particularly disappointed that the hot tub was not functional when we arrived (in fact, it was empty). This was one of our key pieces of search criteria when choosing a place to stay. If the hot tub was known to be out of order, they should have removed the picture from the listing and unchecked the amenity.
