Within a minute drive from Lifts 1 and 10, the Eagle's Nest offers convenience to the ski slopes, nordic trails, hike/mtn bike trails and the golf course. The views are simply spectacular. Watching the sunset over the San Sophia’s and the way the sun’s light plays off of the jagged rock faces and the ever changing colors through the day will take your breath away.

Eagles Nest offers complete privacy and ultimate relaxation while still providing excellent accessibility to Mountain Village, Telluride and all the mountains have to offer. The design of the home provides for 4 couples or families to have their own well separated and private suite and luxurious bathroom. Every room in the home has amazing views of the San Sophia mountains.

The main living area is open plan with kitchen, dining, living and game room surrounding a large central fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, large island for food preparation and a high top bar for kitchen entertaining. The dining room accommodates 8 in great comfort and the adjacent game table can also be used for dining enabling a total of 16 dining seats. The large living room has sectional sofa grouped around a 65" UHD TV while a second cozy group of seats surround the fireplace.

With a spacious design, the upper master suite offers a king size bed, and a large sectional sofa as well as a jetted spa bath with steam shower. The second master is equally spacious providing for a king size bed, twin bunks and an en-suite bathroom with jetted whirlpool tub and steam shower. The 'loft' bedroom is located via its own separate stair case off the main floor living area and is equipped with a queen bed and twin trundle and a full en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom is a great family room with a king size bed and twin bunks (one twin XL and one standard) providing flexibility as a bunk room, family room or suite for a couple. The bedroom has a dedicated bathroom with steam shower across the hall.

The Mountain Village and the town of Telluride are connected by a free gondola that whisks you from the market to Village core to Alreds on the mountain and then down to Telluride. The Town of Mountain Village offers a free summer bus service from the Meadows to Market Plaza to Village Center May 23-Oct. 20, 2019.

In summer, enjoy all Telluride has to offer in scenery, outdoor activities, hiking, 4x4 trails to old mining ruins, fantastic mountain biking options and Telluride's large number of festivals.

Winter

* Mountain Biking. Telluride is surrounded by an extensive network of single track bike trails and old mining roads great for every skill level from beginners to the most advanced riders. Push the limits on one of Telluride’s classic single track trails, or take a scenic ride on Telluride’s valley floor alongside the San Miguel River. Telluride is the perfect place to explore the mountains or join an experienced guide on a personal tour catered to your skill level and interests. Also, downhill on the ski runs! There is no need to pedal if you choose the free gondola to transport you and your bikes to the top of the mountain. Two Towns unlike any others.

* Telluride (population: 2,220) is different. Don't look for a Wal-Mart, a gas station, a neon sign, a lift-line or even a single traffic light - there are none! Nestled in a 'box canyon' and surrounded by the steep-forested San Juan Mountains, the topography of this historic mining town makes growth in any direction impossible! The entire town is designated as a historical district and maintains a small 'mining-town' charm, with strictly-governed Victorian architecture. Explore the abandoned mining camps and frontier ghost towns which dot the hillsides.

* Mountain Village (population: 978) is Telluride's sister town located on the mountain, in the heart of the ski area. A European-style alpine community nestled high above Telluride at 9,500+ elevation. The towns are connected by a free gondola system operating over the mountain tops. There is a fee bus service and a door to door SUV service (pay to ride).

NOTE: Our home is equipped with some smart devices to enhance security and ease of management. We have a 2 way audio security cameras mounted outside the home above the front door and adjacent to the entry door in the garage. There are no cameras within the property itself. We have a smart leak detection in the mechanical room for early alert of a water leak. Additionally, we have a smart temperature / humidity / motion sensor on the fireplace to provide notification of a boiler failure.
