Beautifully restored Chico charmer built in1880 with high ceilings, hardwood floors, a relaxing front porch and private backyard with a gazebo, patio, and outdoor seating. This charming home has a newly renovated bathroom, three bedrooms, a nice, modern kitchen and dining room. Read a book on the spacious window seat in the living room. The house has comfortable beds and high thread count bedding. It is a five minute walk to Bidwell Park, downtown cafes, bars, City Plaza, and the Thursday night and Saturday morning Farmer's Markets. Walk the charming neighborhood to Chico's famous Shubert's ice cream shop or walk in Bidwell Park. Enjoy eating oranges from the two mature orange trees or make your own delicious fresh squeezed orange juice.

Beautiful home and so typical Chico! Air conditioning took awhile to figure out but that was why we had our high schooler with us! Clean and cozy and so close to downtown!

Very clean home. The air conditioning was quite welcome. We appreciated the roomy lay out of the home and the three full bedrooms, making this a nice, non-cramped stay for our family. Some of the beds are not the most comfortable, but this was a small inconvenience.

Another wonderful stay

We had such a wonderful time visiting our old stomping grounds! And this property was a perfect place to take a walk down memory lane. Annie was unbelievably helpful and very quick to respond. We will definitely be back next time we are passing through!

I enjoyed the close proximity to downtown. Loved the vaulted ceilings and outdoor spaces, especially the new patio and gazebo. Perfect for Chico outdoor living.

Great Stay!

Cozy and charming

The house was very comfortable with the back yard sitting area and front porch rockers an added bonus! The furniture and beds were comfortable. Most of our events were within walking distance.

Cute and Comfy Chico Bungalow

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this charming Chico home. The property owner went above and beyond offering packaged snacks, waters, etc. The beds and linens were extremely comfy and the property is kept in excellent condition. The location is fantastic, easy to get downtown and walkable to Bidwell Park. We had a great time and highly recommend this home for your Chico vacation.

Great hosts and location

The house was spotless and the hosts were very responsive and friendly. A low battery alert on one of the smoke detectors our first afternoon there was addressed within 20 minutes and they checked in regularly by text with recommendations and just checking to make sure we had everything we needed. When unseasonal rain hit, the host brought umbrellas over and left them on the porch for us to use. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute and comfy

We really enjoyed this house. It was really cute and very comfortable. We mostly ate out so didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed well stocked and functional. The place was well located near downtown so we could walk to most places. Really the only negative was the traffic noise but even with that I would definitely book this place again.

It IS a charmer!

This little house is lovely. More room than just my husband and I needed, but very comfortable. The yard has a covered patio, that was great as we could sit there out of the rain. The kitchen is fairly well appointed with cookware and tableware. Walking distance to downtown and Bidwell park.

Lovely home in nice neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the accommodations. The home is well stocked with lots of space inside and out. We enjoyed playing games at night and picking oranges and making fresh squeezed OJ each morning. The AC works very well — it was very hot outside during our stay. The only downsides of the property are some road noise and the single bathroom. We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect house

We stayed at this charming house for our daughter’s Nurse Pinning Ceremony from Chico State. We have rented a lot of houses on VRBO but this one was the best appointed house ever. Coffee, tea, creamers, sugars, oatmeal, snacks, and everything you need for cooking. The house is darling, comfortable, and close enough to downtown to walk. Thank you so much for the use of your home!

AMAZING Chico Victorian Home
