This is an excellent newly renovated 1947 Chico house in the Avenues. There are new Sealy posturpedic mattresses in every bedroom (1 king, 2 queens). There is a 75" TV with Apple TV, soundbar, and subwoofer in the living room. There is a large desk and rolling chair in one of the bedrooms that can be used as a workspace. The rear deck has a fire table with chairs for a nice place to relax. There is a long driveway with plenty of off street parking. There are Apple Homepods in the ho

Great location for any one needing to be close to Chico State for an event or athletics. This property meet all the families needs as we attend two soccer matches and celebrated a senior weekend with our daughter.

Great location and comfortable accommodation

The host was super responsive. He typically responded within minutes when I contacted him. It's clear he put a lot of thought into the spot. The beds were comfortable, there were Apple speakers and a Roku big screen, plenty of towels, a dishwasher, mostly new appliances, black out curtains in the main bedroom...My favorite part, however, was the location. I was in town for the birth of my baby and the hospital was a very short walk from the property. Any other place I needed to go was a short drive of 5-10 minutes. The only con was that the oven did not work. This was not the host's fault but it was a bummer. The host did call a repair person but it could not be fixed during my stay. I would suggest window coverings for the kitchen and proper dish towels and I would not describe the kitchen was well stocked. It was pretty basic. All and all, I would recommend it especially for people who need to be close to the hospital.

Great stay in Chico!

This 3 bedroom house in the Avenues area was perfect for our stay in Chico! We came to tour Chico State for my son and wanted to check out the town for a few days. The house is close to campus and downtown. About a 5 min drive and about a 25 minute walk. Everyone bikes or walks around here. Nice quiet neighborhood, except for the train that goes by 1 or 2x a night. Just put your earplugs in and it's fine. My hubby and I had the room with the King bed. Mattress was great and loved the black out curtains. All the pillows were too fluffy for us, so try and bring your own. My teen son stayed in the 2nd bedroom with a queen bed and he said the mattress was comfortable. My teen daughter stayed in the 3rd bedroom and she liked her mattress and extra couch to put her stuff on. Bathrooms had cool smart mirrors. that were stocked well with S&C, toilet paper, body wash, and towels. Would have liked to have a shower in each bathroom. 1 bathroom had a very large jacuzzi tub instead. Would be good for smaller kids but we all prefer to shower so we just had to share. It was a cold weekend so we used the heater at night. It worked well. Kitchen had the essentials. Washing machine and dryer were useful and they provided detergent. Large smart tv with Roku in the living room was nice. This house had charm and nice wood floors. I will stay here again if my son decides to come to school here. We loved the campus and town manager was very quick to get back to us with questions.

Lovely home great air and ceiling fans!

Great allergen free home. Clean, neat, no carpets. As an allergy sufferer it was perfect. No highly scented products used.
