The Kruse Cottage

This charming 1920’s bungalow/cottage has been in our family for over a century and we love spending time here when we are in town. With high ceilings, original woodwork, hardwood floors, and amazing front porch it is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
It is minutes from the Mississippi waterfront, bike path, Lumberkings Stadium, local grocery, and several bars and restaurants.

This VRBO was absolutely perfect, incredibly homey and comfortable from the moment we walked in. We especially appreciated the YouTube TV access, which let us catch the Husky game with no hassle. The location was ideal, tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but still close to everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, and the full kitchen made it easy to feel right at home. We had a great stay and will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful and cozy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The Christmas decor made for the perfect setting for our family and friends. It's a very old home but it’s very well maintained. Absolutely beautiful!

Home away from home

This place is quickly becoming out home away from home - perfect for when we’re in Clinton visiting family. Celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday and had plenty of room to host the family and cook dinner for all. A lovely and comfortable place!

Wonderful stay at this property

We have done a lot of VRBO staying in the area and this is a top three experience. Clean, well-appointed, great amenities, and extremely charming older renovated home. We were visiting family during the days and enjoyed early mornings and evenings here. Happily surprised with the smart TVs with YouTubeTV and other apps available. Kitchen is extremely functional. Overall a high quality, extremely high value experience. We look forward to staying again in the future if available.

Very convenient location!

This charming older home is a perfect location to enjoy downtown and the river biking/walking trail. The description of the property is spot on and the house was very clean. You’ll find everything you need.

Not long enough

The decor and attention to detail made me feel at home. I found a smile on my face being in this cottage. I thought I booked it for 2 nights so unfortunately I did not get to enjoy my stay as planned.

Smoky inside

The house smelled heavy of smoking and almost left cause it gave me a headache but not sure where to go at 9pm.worn mask all nite..not happy.

Great Clinton Home

The Kruse House did not disappoint-the vrbo description was clear and accurate. Perfect for 2 couples or small family. It was a great place to stay while we visited family in the Clinton area for our brother’s 80th birthday. We would definitely recommend the Kruse House and hope to return in the future

Memories in a historical cottage

A homey ambience with historical impact along with modern technology and comforts. From natural woodwork to internet tv. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there with family and holiday meal.
