Gorgeous, private location. The house is lovely and well-equipped. The kids had a blast checking out the sea stars, seals and peacocks (among other wildlife) and hanging out in the loft. Chad was quick to respond and even looked for my son's forgotten hat for us and has mailed it back to us free of charge!

Brenda 10/09/26Thanksgiving weekend with family. It was so worth it!!! Beautiful property! It was lovely to have such an amazing view of the ocean. Coffee in the am by the fire and looking at ocean and listening to the Sea Lions cannot beat that. So quiet. Hot tub clean. Kitchen was well stocked for sure. Everything we needed. And loved that there was ample dishtowels and dishcloths. Also loved that Wood box was stocked and ready to go. Could have a better stock of newspaper to start fire, but we did manage. Communication with Host on point. Never had to wait long before Chad responded. Relaxing and lovely space to spend a weekend with family and friends. Loft was a great added space. Will definitely rent this again.

What a fabulous stay at this beautiful home on the water! There’s so much to see in the area, but we were reluctant to leave because it was just so beautiful to relax and enjoy. I can’t give it enough stars but let it suffice that we will return. Best relaxing vacation our family has ever had, and the host was so accommodating and always quick to respond. Thank you!

Our stay at Heron Point was straight out of an Island dream! The waterfront location and surrounding forest offered serenity while the house and hottub offered relaxation. It was a perfect spot for our young family. We will be coming back!

Fantastically appointed kitchen with everything we needed. Excellent views and a great hot tub! The location was perfect for a getaway but close enough to Sooke to pick up anything we forgot.

At the risk of making it even more popular we can share that we had a wonderful vacation at Heron Point House! It’s got a great setup, and we loved just sitting on the deck watching birds- herons, osprey, an eagle, and a family of Canadian geese, plus seals, and fishing boats come and go. The current is too strong for swimming, so head West to great beaches! Comfy beds, modern appliances, feels far away and peaceful, but 20 minute drive to town.

This oceanfront property is an absolute gem. The setting is incredibly private, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning West Coast nature. We were treated to amazing wildlife visits right outside our door!The home itself was beautiful and spotlessly clean. With plenty of towels/linens. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep after our daily adventures—including an unforgettable fishing trip with Allan as recommended by Chad!For a meal recommendation, Hide N Seek food truck is just a short drive away. The food there was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind.To top it all off, our host/owner was wonderful—so attentive, welcoming, and genuinely kind throughout our entire stay. We hope to have the opportunity to return to this magical spot! Thank you Chad for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

This is an outstanding property. I would give it 15 stars out of ten if I could!The home itself is beautifully designed with large windows showcasing the magnificent view of the water. The private beach is a delight -- the tidal pool creatures, harbor seals and many birds made this a special nature retreat. Watching the sun set from the hot tub on the wonderful outdoor patio was blissful, as well as enjoying an early morning soak. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bedroom and bathroom linens. My family hopes we can return to enjoy this beautiful home and property in the future.

Relaxing Retreat for all Ages

Our two families had a wonderful stay at this rental. The kitchen is very well equipped, comfortable furnishings and beautiful setting. The wildlife we experienced everyday made it quite special!
