Beware! Do Not Book This Property

This booking was one of the worst experience i’ve ever had with a property! First of all we were supposed to get the home at 4pm and it wasn’t ready until 7pm when I called the property manager that was managing this home she gave me a BS story that because the home was so large it took longer to clean and that because it was a holiday they were short staffed…(how is that my problem?) She denied us a late check out to compensate for the lost time, and did not give us a compensation of any kind, I called VRBO and they also were not helpful at all and did nothing to make the situation a pleasant stay for us! On top of everything the home was not cleaned thoroughly, there was dental floss left in the bathroom, garbage in the rooms, an infestation of lady bugs in the upstair rooms, all the rooms were super dusty and spiderwebs everywhere, the home was NOT CLEAN and the cleaning fee is so HIGH. I don’t recommend this property at all!

Property needs attention

It is a spacious home with lots of room for several people. However it is due for some attention. The refrigerator freeze leaked water onto the floor. The dishwasher wasn’t working properly. There was mold in one of the bathrooms. The remotes for the tv in the living room had No batteries and there were no instructions for anything in the cabin. I would not rent it again. We were all there to attend a funeral and did not need these extra problems.

A gathering place to ride in the Smokey Mountains on Motorcycles.

The location of this property was close enough to town to make everything handy, but yet far enough away to keep you out of the high flow traffic. If you’re looking for a over look view or watching wildlife , this is not it. The house is very spacious with plenty of space for large gatherings. Just keep in mind parking can be problem if you have more then 7 vehicles. I would have thought a house of this size would have better accommodations for parking. The pictures lead us a stray. However the property management company worked well with us to meet our needs for parking. There plenty of plates and silverware, but as for pots, pans and skillets to prepare meals the house needs more. Overall 4 star rating.

Family gathering with family members ranging in age from 3 to 88.

This was a great house for a large gathering and we loved its close location to all things Pigeon Forge. Loved that each bedroom had its own bath and the game room was a big hit. This house had plenty of seating for gathering/visiting with each other. Although the kitchen was huge with plenty of seating for dining, I was disappointed in the lack of basic kitchen equipment. We were a group of 22. The kitchen only contained 6 forks and 4 spoons upon our arrival. Also, we were unable to locate any casserole type dishes or baking pans. The management company did bring additional forks and spoons to us once I called and asked for them. Overall it was a great house for our group and everyone loved it. We hope to return to this property, or one of the similar neighboring properties for our next trip.
