The screened back deck and sunroom offer picturesque views of a small lagoon and the Plantation Course fairway. Central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer round out the in-home essentials.

Located before the front gates of Wyndham Ocean Ridge, restaurants and shops are a swift walk from your home away from home. The advantages of resort life on Edisto are all at your fingertips. Do as much or as little as you choose. It’s your vacation.

Wyndham amenities are available for purchase at the Wyndham Cafe, but there is no guarantee due to limited passes per day. These amenities include access to three pools, tennis courts, gym fitness room, mini golf, playground and beach cabana.
This vacation rental is located in Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. No boats, trailers, motorcycles, mopeds, campers, RVs, or golf carts are allowed inside the resort.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Great stay

We enjoyed the cottage and all amenities. Communication was great. The Wyndham amenity passes are a little costly but the pool use was a great escape when we didn’t want beach and sand.

Edisto escape

Our visit was only four days and Mother Nature didn't cooperate much. The place was perfect and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Porch was not uded as only screened in and we stayed July 16 - 21st. AC worked great throughout rest of unit. Busy parking area at check-in time. Back porch railing was broken so be careful if using til its fixed. Other than those items the unit was ideal. Especially enjoyed fooseball table, other games.

Wonderful

It was the perfect place for our family of 4 to stay for a quiet spring break trip. It was cozy, quiet, clean, and bright. My kids loved the foosball table. When we initially pulled up, I was concerned about the noise because the location is just off the Wyndham check-in lot, but we did not hear anything! It was so quiet and it was nice to not have to wait at the gate each time. I would definitely stay here again

Loved the Mermaid Cottage

We loved staying here, just a beautiful location, just on the edge of a pond and the gold course. For anyone else wondering, you don't need to go through the gates of the Wyndham resort to get here, you can go around, which also means you can rent a golf cart to get around the resort and island. We did find it to be a pain to get to the beaches with a gas powered golf cart since you can't drive it on the main road. You can use the Wyndham amenities (pool, mini-golf, etc) with purchase of daily or weekly pass. The house itself is set up perfectly and has so many fun little games and activities. There's plenty of cookwear, serving dishes, plates, etc that you don't have to worry too much about bringing your own.

Coffee Dilema

The location of this unit proved a hard place to find parking @ check-in time of 4pm; however, the advantage was its close to the entrance of the resort. We went in July so we did not use the screened-in porch which is quite lovely. I am a big coffee drinker so called ahead to check out what type was in the unit and upon arrival found it was a different type but luckily Food Lion wasn't far. The beds were both very comfortable and it was nice to have fans in them. The fooz ball table was definitely a plus. Be careful of the back stairs as railing is detached.

Reflect and Relax

My son and I went to Edisto to start the New Year as my husband had passed 6 months earlier. It was a beautiful place to relax, reflect on the memories we shared of him and start a New Year. The property was beautiful and a perfect location

Loved Edisto!

This location was great! Close to a lot and easy to get to uncrowded beach accesses. It was quiet and serene. Would have loved to have been able to enjoy the screened porch more but the weather was too hot! Spent most of our time in the sun room. Would definitely stay again.

Great little cottage

Perfect set up for a family of 3. We did notice some dishes weren’t clean and some trash was left under the counters in the bathroom but we loved the cottage. We would definitely love to stay there again.

Lovely little place!

Soothing interior, comfortable screened in porch and glassed in room next to it. Views of trees, water, golf course. Comfortable place to be especially when the weather outside is blustery. Great location for walking, too. We'd definitely stay there again on our next trip to Edisto Beach.

Everything We Needed

We loved our petite, well arranged cottage at the entry of Ocean Ridge. It had everything we needed, from kitchen to bedrooms to screen porch and deck. And even a few happy surprises! We will definitely come again next year.

Such a sweet escape.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Cottage. The sunroom and screen porch were our favorites. It’s settled in a very quiet neighborhood and close to all the eateries. We enjoyed the gas grill on several occasions and the master bathroom is spacious. It was a fun time! One key point is to remember to bring your travel pots and pans. There were very few there. This wouldn’t keep me from staying again though. We did really enjoy our stay for the week!

Cute Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Cottage and will definitely be returning! The house was clean and cozy! Great location! The view of the lagoon was beautiful and peaceful! We had no propane in the tank in the gas grill, so we called the office and in no time flat someone came out, replaced it, and we were grilling burgers and happy campers!!
