Great place to stay quiet, and you can watch deer in the yard. We had a propane grill at the farmhouse and there is a microwave, but no others means to cook food. We brought our own cast iron skillet and grilled our dinners. No TV which wasn’t a problem Walmart is close we bought a deck of cards and Yahtzee to pass the time after dinner. Everyone on the property was very helpful and friendly!! I would definitely stay again!!
We loved the house and finish’s, being older we wish for a handle to stabilize ourselves getting on to and off composting toilet.

This property is charming, gorgeous and quiet. We spent 3 nights there, father and son motorcycle trip. Absolutely enjoyed time and will definitely stay again.
Awesome host - really comfortable for couple oversized studio type accommodation. The outside grounds are amazing - have to see to believe. Spearfish Rocks!
Friend and I have been coming to Black Hills for Mickelson half marathon this was our third time haven’t been pleased with where we stayed until this trip. Will definitely stay here again btw I referred a friend to this place.
Just perfect for the two of us and the pet cats who we travel with. The deer - the creek - the welcoming personality of Cappy and Sprout- just couldn’t have been better!!

Off grid was interesting. All of the space was great.
Really enjoyed our stay. We were back for my Mom’s funeral. It was so nice to be able to stay someplace that was quiet after spending time with family. The grounds were beautiful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.
The property was beautiful and charming. The house itself was fine - the heater made a lot of noise as it ran. Seemed to be quite a bit of dog hair from previous visitors.
