We rent our beautiful, cozy holiday villa Lana Marie in Cape Coral. The approximately 155 m², fully air-conditioned villa welcomes you with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious living area. The superbly equipped, open kitchen, offers everything for a family meal.
The large TV and the free Wi-Fi provide entertainment for all ages.
The sunny terrace area with solar and electrical heated pool and gas grill provides for
Rest, cool off and delicious BBQ evenings.
Cape Coral is located in southwest Floridas on the Gulf of Mexico. Excursions to Miami (230 km), Tampa (190 km) or the Everglades (150 km) can be easily reached by car. Only 10 minutes away by car, the nearest beach is at the Yacht Club Cape Coral. It is a small, sweet bay with beautiful sandy beach, clear water and restaurant.

Love staying here! Was slightly disappointed though as I couldn't use he pool as there was a mechanical problem with the pool heater. Will return though! Thank you again Jens!

Taking a break from winter

We had a wonderful time! The house is nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed going to the different beaches Fort Myers, Lovers Key etc. Visited Sanibel Island and Captivia Island as well. The pool water was cold so we never went swimming, but the nights are colder and it would cost a fortune to keep the pool water warm. FYI… you may want to bring your own can opener, the one there doesn’t work.

NICE PLACE

house was great, location and neighborhood was great. Only thing that bothered me was it was solar heat for the pool. so I didn't get to use like I wanted to. 72 degrees just doesn't do it. Other thing was only local channels on the tv and a few off the wall channels. Everything else was great. For summer months with warmer weather this would be a great place to stay

No heated pool.

We thought the property was as shown in the photos. But we selected this property for the heated pool and it was not working. It was reported to the owners originally in December and should have been repaired before we came in January. Very disappointed.

Sorry for the service from the Pool Company. But from my side with these night temperatures it makes no Sense to heat . You would heat for nothing. But that is up to the guests. This is right now a cold winter in Florida.

This property has a separate charge for electricity. A week after renting, I still don't know what that charge will be. It is supposed to be my consumption, not a percentage of the monthly bill, so the amount should have been known a week ago, and this transaction completed. This makes me uncomfortable.

Perfekter Urlaub

Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen, aber dennoch ruhig. Walmart und Aldi sind mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. In einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche findet man alles was man braucht. Alles war sehr sauber, ordentlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Wasser im Pool hatte genau die richtige Temperatur zum Baden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war top. Ich würde das Haus sofort weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

die Lage von dem Haus ist wirklich gut, jedoch sehr veraltet & man merkt sofort dass hier ein deutscher Vermieter im Background steht ! Meine Frau & ich werden hier definitiv nicht mehr buchen & weitere Gäste sollten sich über das Haus auch vorher genau informieren… Fazit : nicht zu empfehlen !!!

Schade das Sie nicht zufrieden waren. Unser Kommunikation war eigentlich OK. Fand ich. Unser Haus wurde immer weiter renoviert und das haben wir jetzt im Mai auch wieder getan. Eine technischen Defekt ,wie die Mikrowelle wird es immer mal geben. Schade ,das Sie das mit der Stromabrechnung überlesen haben, das der Strom nach Verbrauch abgerechnet wird. Ich werde es in der Anzeige mehr hervorheben.

10 Days in Paradise.

The house was exactly as described.We arrived a few hours earlier than expected and were able to check in early with no problem.The host was very helpful with everything.My family enjoyed every day of our trip and staying at this property was the icing on the cake.Nice and roomy house with great air conditioning and a relaxing pool.Will definitely be booking again.

Sehr schönes Haus mit eigenem Pool

Das Haus ist ruhig aber trotzdem zentral gelegen, man erreicht in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Das Haus selbst ist gepflegt und sauber. Es mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht (zB Handtücher, Fön, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche) und vielem mehr. Der Kontakt vor Ort ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Villa Lana Marie! Absolut empfehlenswert.

Big kitchen area with pool

This property was clean and well represented by the listing. We rent often in the SW area of Cape Coral so weren’t as familiar with this neighborhood. The property itself had a large kitchen with many supplies and a washer and dryer. The pool was a good temp during our visit where the weather was in the 70-85 degree range. House itself is older with some worn furnishings. Secondary mattresses were very firm. In person check in and out process. Communication with owner was prompt.

Great house, great location!

The house had everything we needed for a great stay in sunny Florida. Close to Del Prado and Veterans Parkway, it was a 25 minute drive to the airport and a 25 minute drive to Sanibel. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds decent. We made great use of the heated pool and the screened Florida room. There were lots of pool and beach toys in the garage and we enjoyed a couple bike rides around the neighborhood with the bikes we found in there too. We were able to walk to Catholic Mass just a couple blocks from the house. And when my husband took the car for a fishing outing, we were able to walk to RaceTrack (gas station) for snacks. Check in was super easy (even when a cancelled flight got us there at 2am 2 days after our scheduled arrival). There were plenty of pots and pan, seasonings and even a couple cold beverages in the fridge when we arrived. My only disappointment was the sheets were polyester but that's pretty minor. I would certainly stay here again. The price was a value for all of the space and amenities.

After many years of rentals, this is the first time reviewing negatively! This house needs serious repairs and upgrades. Dishwasher and microwave have issues, Previous tenants must have given up and put away dirty dishes and utensils in cabinets! Hidden fire extinguisher from 1993 never recertified. Rickety chair at counter. No privacy in master bath - pocket door broken. Hairdryer in master bath, switch broken, overheats. No can opener, liquid detergent, garbage bags, or paper towels. Back slider very hard to open & close. Owner has not upgraded pool heater as mentioned in previous review. Pool not senior accessible with ladder only entry. Owner and manager German. No English instructions - VRBO does not translate messages. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to restaurants and shops.

The house was perfectly located for everything. Only downfall we found was price was listed in Euros and not dollars, so final price wasn’t as we had thought it was. Overall, great spot though. Had a hiccup with garage door and it was fixed within a day without hassle.
