Renovated Luxury Lake View Home - new decor/hot tub/pool table/central location

Welcome to Sierra Holiday, named for our incredible views of unique Tahoe boulders.

Located in the same neighborhood as two entrances to Heavenly ski resort, Stagecoach Lodge & Boulder Lodge. The Tahoe Rim Hiking Trail crosses right by our property and we're 10 minutes to Tahoe beaches and casinos.

This home was recently renovated. The great room has large windows to enjoy the breathtaking, panoramic lake, boulder and mountain views. It also offers beamed cathedral ceilings and hardwood hickory floors. The kitchen is designed for the most discriminating chef with alder cabinets, granite counters & stainless steel appliances (including a 6 burner gas range and double ovens).

The living area has a rocked gas fireplace & large screen TV. The owner has also built a custom alder dining table perfect for large groups, as well as, an outdoor dining table.

A family room on the lower level is perfect for large groups and contains an antique Honduran Mahogany pool table & another large screen TV.

Bedrooms are furnished with contemporary furniture & accessorized with Tahoe and mountain photos. Bathrooms are also completely renovated with alder cabinets, granite counter tops, & travertine floors.

The 7 bedrooms are decorated with a mountain theme. All the bathrooms are renovated with travertine tile.

Security/safety items include exterior ring cameras, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and carbon monoxide detectors. Children should be watched on decks at all times.

50th Birthday

Fantastic place for a large group. Grocery store reasonably close. A reminder for any smokers you have in your group, you need to be off property which is the road and you'll need to be taking a relatively steep flight of stairs anytime you need to get to the road/garage from the house. If you have need of a caterer, make sure you book well in advance; the host does have someone that has been used before.

Great View, Disappointing Property

Our stay at this property, early June 2023. Upon arrival found a steep set of stairs down to the front door. As a senior citizen, very difficult to navigate. Upon entering we found the place was not clean. We paid high price for this rental.. One would expect impeccable cleanliness, and well maintained appliances. In conversation with the host, it was agreed we would receive a rebate for the cleaning fee, and we were not to write a negative review. He then changed that to we were to write a positive review. We could not agree to that, so we thought the final agreement was that we would not write any review and he would pay the rebate. No rebate as been forthcoming. We are free to inform potential renters of our experience with this house. The view is spectacular as long as one stays in the house. Step out onto the balcony and the view is diminished by the constant sound of traffic from the highway below. Certain appliances were not operable. Oven on convection setting did not work properly. Main microwave oven did not work. Worst of all the dishwasher failed after the second day. The thermostats were locked. Gas feed to the fireplace was set so low the flame was not visible. Hot tub set to low temperature. Host was very defensive. Apparently the owner, who may also be the host, is trying to operate this unit on the cheap and it is not working. Potential renters please read his comments, and make up you own mind. Thank you.

Amazing home, beautiful views!

We had an amazing stay at this Tahoe property. The view is incredible! We loved the hot tub and various decks. It was perfect for our large group. We hiked on the trail right across the street from the house which was beautiful. We did need to buy things like shampoo and additional towels, but overall would highly recommend staying here.
