Welcome to SEA LA VIE your beachfront pedestrian only beach property. Life at the beach in your newly and beautifully renovated home is as relaxing as the refreshing sea breeze. Watch the beautiful scenery as the run rises, sets, and accents the clouds with endless colors. Enjoy the sun and a drink of your choice from your spacious two-level beach facing balconies.

As the sun rises make your way down the stairs and right onto the pedestrian only beach where you can enjoy surfing, swimming, sunbathing, sandcastle construction, among a myriad of beach games and activities. Relax, the children can play at ease, as no vehicles are allowed on your beach. If you wish, take a short stroll down the beach to the jetty park where there is fishing, a children's playground, and splash park.

Your spectacular home on Surfside Beach has direct beach access. No one enjoys having to carry and drag through the sand all the beach necessities when spending the day at the beach. It gets better, your home comes fully equipped with beach towels, collapsible chairs, sand toys, a picnic table, and almost any other imaginable need. Enjoy the added amenities which include outdoor hot and cold shower, plenty of entertaining area under the house, BBQ grill, patio furniture and dining space on the upper deck.

Your house is better equipped than any resort with high-speed Wi-Fi, high-definition TVs in every room (including two 65” TVs), cable TV, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and Prime TV. At night, you can enjoy the star sprinkled sky as the children pick their spots on their stair-equipped bunk beds and lay to rest (they will be tired). With all the erosion that has happened over the years, this house is in the PERFECT place at the PERFECT time. Having waves so close to the deck was awesome for those of us that did not want to get sand in our toes. And for the sand lovers, it was 15 seconds to the water. Great time was had!

Lovely Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. We are over-packers and planners but we honestly brought too many things for the fully stocked place! We didn’t need many of the kitchen things we had brought and plenty of towels were available. The availability of water and ice was not an issue for us on the island plus the water issue in the house was not that much of an issue (though we did not drink it). A lovely place for our family vacation and we loved it so much we booked again for next year!

Beautiful beach front home

The home was amazing, beautifully decorated and updated. We did not know it was 4 houses away from watching the giant ships coming in and out, but we all enjoyed that surprise. The owner was great with communication when we had questions.

Great stay at the beach

Perfect location with kids. Absolutely loved being able to see the kids from the deck while they played in the sand. The house was very well equipped and we appreciated being able to wash towels and swimsuits as needed. All communication was very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again!

Family vacation

Place was beatiful and perfect size for family of 8 to have plenty of room. Only problem was alarm went off several times right after we arrived which caused the police to show up but eventually we where able to get in touch with someone and they deactivated the sensors for us. After that it was great!!

Perfect Getaway!

Perfect weekend getaway! The house is perfect inside and out. Inside, our kids loved the bunks and the kitchen was perfect for cooking and lounging around. Great views and the easiest access to the beach you could ask for. Feels like a private access. We had morning coffee on the patio and then we were able to set up our spot with our beach tents and chairs early in the morning so we had our house and beach front laid out for the whole day. Mom who is a little older was able to watch us from the patio and enjoy the scenery. She loved it. My sister's little boys (5 & 6 yrs) were able to get breaks throughout the day from the beach. We did some surf fishing and we walked right on over to Surfside jetty. We caught trout and whiting! We even had enough room to setup volleyball! It was a great stay and we hope to do it again!

Feedback Surfside Beach

Everything was perfect except the check-in where the lock-box was not at the place indicated. In addition, one of the balcony doors could not be opened and a handyman was needed to fix the problem.

Beautiful location on pedestrian beach , very nice accommodation, very responsive property manager , unfortunately no fireworks visible from deck but none were advertised, now to the only real downside …parking …second year in a row stuck in the sand , had to unload , get pulled out and park in the public lot a five minute walk away . Properties next door had equipment there working to remove sand from recent storm …very inconvenient to have to deal with this issue two yrs in a row …last year there was no storm , owners need to invest in fixing this !!

First Time Visit

The property was well decorated and with comfortable furnishings. Spending time on the deck was really nice. This was our first time on the Texas Gulf and if you haven't visited, you should take some time to research. It was cool to watch ships coming into the port, beware the house sways and you can hear all through the night. The owner did not make us aware prior to booking the home that cameras are in use at the property and I believe a renter should have that knowledge prior to booking. Also, if you are not familiar with water in Texas, again research. There are many nice things about this property and depending on what you are looking for the negatives are not an issue.

Pros: Right on the beach and within walking distance to the jetty. Two decks with comfortable seating. Stocked kitchen and bathroom (plenty of TP, paper towels and trash bags). Comfortable beds. Property manager was very responsive (we had a few issues per below, but the property manager responded right away and apologized and noted she would correct them).Cons: Ceiling fans dusty, BBQ pit was dirty and ran out of propane with only 2 uses, dishwasher wouldn't stop cycling on and off on it's own trying to drain (we weren't able to use it) and some of the pots and pans are beginning to show wear and tear (non-stick scratched). Would not trust parking under the house without a 4x4. We parked on the street. We had a great time despite some of the inconveniences noted above and would consider staying here again due to the location, the house layout and the two large decks that were perfect for people watching and enjoying the gulf.

Sea La Vie is a great house situated on the front row of pedestrian beach. It provided the best views of the beach, day and night, and allowed us to watch our kids play safely on the beach from our deck. It is decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. Communication with Kimber was great. She responded quickly to any questions I had and she took care of the few minor issues I had immediately.

Didn't want to go home!

Our stay was lovely. The property manager and owners were very responsive to questions and needs. Our kids loved the bunk room (10,11,12) and we loved everything about the house and location. Fully plan on booking next year. Thank you for the memories. My kids didn't want to leave and neither did the parents.
