We came together to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday. The cabin was perfect for us and so beautiful! Loved the outside fire pit! Clean and comfy ! Easy to access and communication was good.
We only stayed one night, but if we ever go back to the area we would for sure stay at the property again. We had a slight issue that arose and the communication was prompt and kind!
Clean, spacious, and perfect for a big family!
This is by far one of the best rentals we have had. The pictures do not do this home justice. The property was clean and nice. It was beautiful and definitely perfect for a family. It is very hard to find a nice family oriented rental that will hold a big family. Christian was amazing and responsive to any questions we had. We will absolutely rent again when we go up north. You won't ever regret booking a stay at this property. It was a home away from home.
I Was looking for a place that my family and sisters family could stay together while in Heber Az. for a memorial. This was my 1st time using VRBO and didn’t know what to expect but we all really loved the pictures of the Black Bear Cabin and so we decided to stay there. Everything was super easy from communicating with the owner to paying to finding the place. The cabin was just what we expected, it was very clean and well taken care of. We really enjoyed our stay and took full advantage of the front swing and cool weather.
This was a nice cabin and we enjoyed our time here. All 5 of us suffered horrible allergies while staying here however, which was not normal. Not sure if there had been animals in the house before, the dust or if it was just the allergens in the air??
We loved the outside area where we made a fire each night and made smores. It would have been nice if the TV streaming worked, but it doesn't. The only entertainment are DVDS. The trash was also a problem since we had to take care of the previous renter's trash. We were told to take it to the street the night before. By am it was strewn all over and we spent time picking up other people's nasty trash from the road. The trash man never came, so we had to walk the dumpster up the road and empty ourselves.
Other than a few annoyances, it was a pleasant stay. It is very well equipped with everything you might need and more.
It is a beautiful cabin...the pictures do not do it justice...it's spacious and so so homie and comfy...everything you need is there...will definitely stay there again if the opportunity presents itself...owner is awesome and get's back to you in a promptly manner.
The cabin is new and clean. Beautifully decorated. My favorite spot was the swing on the porch.
Love the area. Walking and seeing the deer. . Watching sunrise on the porch. Taking trips to see the wild horses. My puppies were with me. Love to walk outside. The cabin was comfy and very well stocked. The internet was slow. That made us spend more time outside. Love this cabin. Thank you
The pictures don't do this place justice. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, Don't overpack and if you do forget something they probably have it, things you wouldn't expect like cooking oil and spices. This is the nicest place I have ever stayed bar none. Very close to everything Heber has to offer.
We’ve stayed in quite a few houses/cabins through the years and must say, this tops them all!! The listing doesn’t do this place justice, it’s located in a nice area, VERY clean, equipped with everything you would need and beautifully decorated!
The lighting is amazing, anywhere from atmosphere lights to full on bright. Your choice. The bathrooms are all 3 so clean and the towels…WOW, they are so huge and fluffy! And they provide so many, not skimpy like many places.
We were welcomed with the supplies/food needed to make s’mores for the family out in the fire pit. So nice!
We really enjoyed our time here. No complaints! We couldn’t have asked for a better cabin for the price, very happy! We hope to come back again soon!!
This cabin was amazing!!! Everything you needed they had very spacious and host was very responsive.. it was exactly what we needed before going back to daily routine..
Black Bear Cabin is a great property to beat the heat in the pines with your family and fur-babies. We are already looking forward to coming back.
Master: The master bed is so comfortable it made me want to toss out my bed when I returned home. Loved the master bath with a tall shower head and wand + a large jet tub.
Kitchen: Beautiful spacious cabin with seating for 18! We had one dining table for puzzles and one table to eat at plus the breakfast bar. Both tables were really beautiful high-quality furniture and one has built-in leaf extensions on each end. The other table sits in a bay-area surrounded by windows. Well stocked kitchen made meal preps fun. Large, clean fridge and freezer. Great appliances including crock pot, Ninja and griddle. Really liked the cookware which had a nice variety of pots and pans. Two nice sets of dinnerware and silverware. There was a nice assortment of cooking utinsels and even spices. Tons of storage.
Bedrooms: Downstairs bedroom is an awesome bunkhouse. Queen sized bed, very comfortable. Two sets of bunk beds which we didn’t need. Great dedicated bathroom, lots of privacy. It even has a heating-stove. I could see that being really nice as this room stays cooler than the house. This was great in the summer. Upstairs secondary bedroom has a very comfortable bed, very nice furniture and is right off the upstairs guest bathroom.
Property owners have put a lot of thought into renter’s comfort. There were trash bags, hand sanitizer, soap, plenty of T.P., Washer/dryer vacuum which all helped make an extended stay comfortable. Every light switch is labeled! Love the clean and well-functioning grill on the wrap around deck. It has a very nice and safe concrete fire pit area with a beautiful, raised, iron firepit with cover. Loved putting my full-sized truck in the garage at night end entering directly into the house.
The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to questions.
There were only two-drawbacks that really aren’t drawbacks. 1) Wi-Fi is slow, but after 11 days in the area I come to believe that it is as fast as is available up there making work difficult, but possible. 2) The TV streams from the wi-fi which means it is unenjoyable to watch. Beautiful TV, but you’re buffering every few minutes. We went up while the Suns were in the finals and we had to watch the games at the Wild Women Saloon which is a few minutes-drive away. But my kids were still on their devices/phones.
