Enjoy the mountain air from the full length front porch or gather around the fire pit in the back yard. The main living area is perfect for gathering and spending quality time together. We have provided all the necessities to help you relax, focus on making memories, and feeling rejuvenated. The cabin features a king bed, a queen bed, two extra long twin beds and a sofa sleeper as well as two bathrooms. The cabin stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. High speed Starlink internet is provided so you can stay fully connected and enjoy the provided streaming entertainment. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of adventure or enjoying quiet moments inside, this charming retreat provides an enjoyable escape. It’s easy to see why you’ll be able to unwind at our place.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn off A/C during the summer. During the winter, leave heater on downstairs set at 55 degrees and turn off upstairs heater. Unplug all space heater and fans, and turn off fireplace.
If dryer was used, please ensure lint trap is cleaned out. If chairs were used from the deck box, return them.
Ensure all windows are fully closed and latched.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Absolutely NO smoking or vapping inside the cabin. All cigarettes butts outside must be collected and discarded as trash upon departure.
Trash to be taken to Waste Mngt free of charge @ 2188 W Country Club Dr. Open daily 8a-4p, Sunday 8-noon. Closed Wed. Fees will apply if left behind.
Please do not allow children to play with SmartLock. It drains the battery and sends the Owner a notification each time it’s turned.

We are originally from northern Arizona and currently living in Gilbert, AZ. We love to get out and enjoy nature in a variety of ways and especially love spending time with family in the mountains at a nearby lake, or out on the mountain trails. This cabin is our second home, and a great home base for all of our outdoor adventures. We have furnished it nicely with everything we need when we visit and we are confident our guests will appreciate the attention to detail. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We bought our second home in Heber-Overgaard to escape the heat of the valley and spend time together in the cool mountain air and with family who live close by.

We love the location of this cabin because of its easy access to the highway, yet very private with virtually no vehicles traffic on Forest Lane.

The neighborhood is very quiet and feels more remote than it really is with restaurants and convenience close enough to walk to.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is a new build with all new furnishings as of 2025. It was build and furnished as a second home, not just a short term rental. The beds and furniture are all very comfortable. We love the lack of traffic on the Lane where the cabin is located. With only 3 houses on a dead end lane, there are almost no cars that drive down the Lane.
