About this property

Awesome in Walloon Village

Great spot! Ten minutes to Boyne Mt. and a three-minute walk from the charming village of Walloon Lake with its shopping, beach, and restaurants. This space comes with a full kitchen and workspace. It's an ideal spot for two, however, there is a futon in the living room to accommodate two little ones. (Another apt. next door is available for booking). Our apt. is 12 minutes from Petoskey's gaslight district or restaurants in Boyne City.​​​​​

Our apartment includes a laundry room in the middle of the building & a large parking lot in case you want to bring your boat.

Local activities are downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating (when it’s cold enough the Village has a skating pond by the Barrel Back restaurant), boating (rentals are available in the Village), golf, mountain biking, hiking, and biking trails are within a ten-minute drive. ​​​If you like upscale restaurants The Barrel Back restaurant is a memorable experience as it sits above a marina in the Village of Walloon & it’s a fun place to watch the boats.

The living room has a Roku T.V. and WiFi.

My friend and I stayed at the property for two days. We loved the property. The apartment had everything we needed and it was walking distance to “downtown” Walloon and a short drive to Petoskey. We highly recommend staying there.

Heather is a great host. Her place is clean and well maintained. We are here for our 22nd anniversary for a couple days. It’s the perfect little place for a short getaway. Minutes away from Boyne Mountain, where we enjoyed the Sky Bridge. We also loved Walloon Lake.When we walked in, we noticed that Heather added a special touch. She wrote happy anniversary, with our last name, on a board on the wall. And some mints in a bowl. We thought that it was a very cute added touch. And what made us smile even more, was that there were Bible verses in various spots. Inspirational messages. Thank you, Heather, for the cozy getaway!

It was clean, quiet and only 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain, where we skied. The internet was great which helped when I had to do a little bit of work remotely. We would definitely go back.

Great little place

My son and I enjoyed our rime at this property. It was cozy and had all of the necessities. We were there for a ski trip and enjoyed coming back to this quiet little place after a day of skiing.

Cute place!

Perfect little place for my wife and I to spend a couple nights as we enjoyed the Walloon Lake area. Very clean, quiet and cozy. Our host did a great job communicating and taking care of all the little details. Thanks for the tip in your guidebook about the walking trail along the shore!

Perfect spot for the 2 of us. Clean, good location, close to the tunnel of trees. We were hoping to walk the Sky Bridge but it is only open on the weekends in November. Gives us a reason to come back to this charming town!

Little gem

We had a soccer tournament weekend but were looking for a special getaway for us with no kids! This worked perfectly for us! Loved the convenience to everything and enjoyed making memories in Walloon Lake❤️

Getting to know people & reading are my favorite hobbies. My husband and I really enjoy Northern Michigan and it’s wonderful walking trails in the summer( a.k.a. snowshoeing trails in the winter). We have five children that love to swim, ski and keep us hopping. Our favorite restaurant is The Barrel Back found in Walloon Lake Village (just three minutes from the rental). It sits above the lake so you can watch the boats or snowmobilers come in depending on the season. I enjoy hosting the rental and hope that guests will find everything they need at the apartment and have a pleasant stay.-Heather
