This was a perfect little spot to unwind & relax, looking forward to coming back.
The river access is perfect for fishing & enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the swing.
This property is a quiet and peaceful place on the Menominee River. It was very clean and well stocked. We loved having direct access to the river. It is a fantastic getaway spot!!
Such a pretty area! Everything was clean and cozy. Wasn't terribly secluded, but the places next to us were empty, so that worked out well. The river was beautiful. Lots of birds.
The setting is extraordinary; back in the woods on the river. The home is cozy with excellent amenities and gracious hosts. Despite the isolation, it's an easy 15-30 minute drive to pretty much any resource you need. Would absolutely visit again!
The place is beautiful and very clean. I love the waterfront view. You can tell that they care about their guests and provide a wonderful experience for your stay. Thank you!
This place is in the woods, but not far from town. Quiet, peaceful, spacious for two - three people or family with kids. Host stays connected - a pleasant plus.
We loved every thing about the time at Kelly's trailer, it was our home for 3 nights. The trailer was very clean, it had everything we needed, the beds were comfy, we slept great, and her instructions were easy to understand.

The cabin was exactly as advertised. Clean and upkept with a wonderful view of the river (and the homemade syrup is delicious). But after hitting a deer, words cannot express the gratitude that we have to Matt and Kelly for everything that they did to help us out of a terrible situation. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at their cabin again, and any future renters should know that the Owners are stand up people who care for their rental and the people who stay there.
Nice quiet location with a beautiful river view. The cabin had games and movies to enjoy and plenty of space to relax. There is also a propane grill on the deck. We enjoyed a fire in the pit and smores as the sun set. We would stay again if we were ever in the area.
We loved our cozy base camp that felt far away from everything but was convenient to all our destinations! We explored Dave’s Falls, watched a ship christening in Marinette, and sampled a few great microbrews around the area. We made fast friends with the family next door and had the great pleasure of sampling the maple syrup they we making!!
We all had a great time, place was clean and had everything we needed. There were 6 of us and a dog Thanks to Kelly for the short notice on the dog coming, we worked out the extra fee very easy. We were able to get together with family for BBQ and a camp fire and the guys did a little fishing. A great time was had by all.
Was wonderful! House had everything we needed for comfort and relaxation. We had waterfront view, a first experience with river swimming and fishing, firepit meals each night and walks on the quiet roads.communication was excellent, quick polite responses and a welcome letter with wifi info,check-in and out tasks, funfacts and a small ottle of local maple syrup and pancake mix . Well definitly return!
Nice little remodeled trailer on shores of Menominee River. Very peaceful and quiet. Swing by river is great to watch as daylight breaks out. Seeing the Sturgeon jumping is something. House has everything you need. The maple syrup is a nice touch. Warning for fisherman this summer , the river is at a 25 year low. So plan on using a jon boat, river drift boat or canoe/kayak! Would certainly return just probably a month earlier to not have to deal with the low river levels. Owners are quick to answer any question and very pleasant.Hassle free .
LOTS of peace and quiet!! Beautiful setting and everything I could need for a pleasant stay. Communicative, helpful owner.
Nothing the owners can do anything about, and I'm only mentioning as an FYI to other travelers, cell service was weird - I have T-mobile, which doesn't work well in the area. Wifi was great! I had no issues working while I was there.
Stayed 5 nights with husband and 3 kids ages 14, 10, and 7. Comfortable beds and couches. The porch could also be used as a 3rd bedroom if you bring an air mattress. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need, but bring skewers if you want to roast marshmallows on the campfire (or just use sticks like we did)!
Easy tubing and kayaking trips up- and down-river from the property. Great fishing, too- caught 10-12 smallmouth bass and northern during our stay, and saw a sturgeon in the water!
Small grocery store is about 10 min away, and there’s a cozy bar/supper club down the road. Dave’s Falls, Crivitz, and Marinette all made fun day trips.
The trailer is accurately pictured in the listing. It’s an older trailer that has been remodeled. The bathroom and kitchen were very nicely updated. The bedrooms are decent size. The setting is so nice. There are neighbors on either side pretty close and there is a neighbor dog that wanders the property but he didn’t seem aggressive (but also not very friendly). The river is so peaceful and we loved the swing by the river as well as the fire pit. We normally go camping every year with our best friends but now with toddlers we decided to upgrade from tents and this was the best of both worlds! My only complaint is that the home does have a very strong odor to the point where I didn’t even want to be inside the first day. It did seem to improve when we aired out the house all day. Some of the odor appears to be very old cigarette smoke but unfortunately it also smelled as if the gusts before us were smoking inside and we found a lot of cigarette butts outside. Not necessarily the owners fault but maybe some non-smoking signs and fines for noncompliance would be helpful.
Lastly, I love how stocked the place was and the washer/dryer was so nice to have!! Owners were so sweet and left us some homemade maple syrup - so yummy!
