NEW listing! NEWLY renovated!! Experience the serenity of oceanfront living in this cozy cottage. Imagine waking up and taking a morning swim without having to walk through town or drive your car ~~~

This tastefully decorated cottage features hardwood floors, Cambria Quartz kitchen countertops, gas range & oven, washer & dryer, large walk-in shower, off-street parking for one or two vehicles and ample room to store bicycles and beach gear.

The sleeping area has a Queen-size bed and large double closet. The chef's kitchen is fully equipped and includes a Keurig coffee maker (with refillable pod), microwave and toaster oven. A plush leather sofa folds out into a Queen-size bed for those occasions when guests spend the night. This cottage has a huge deck shared with the main house and includes an outdoor shower. There's also a full-sized dining table on the deck for eating al fresco!

You will be close enough to the Point Pleasant boardwalk to enjoy their Thursday night fireworks display from the comfort of Bay Head's beaches. Should you crave boardwalk cuisine, concessions and atmosphere, you will only be a five minute / 1.5 mile drive away.

Only 19.6 miles (a 35 minute drive) to Island Beach State Park, nature lovers can experience the coast as it was prior to being developed. Watch the sun rise here and you're very likely to spot a red fox in the dunes!

Connected to New York City's Penn Station via NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast line, the cottage is a half-mile walk from the Bay Head train station: perfect for anyone without a car looking to escape the City. Walking distance to several premier restaurants, gourmet market/liquor store, Cheese Shop, Mueller's Bakery, and several boutiques.

Beautiful oceanfront cottage

Highly recommend this quiet little slice of heaven. The privacy coupled with direct beach access, the beautiful deck, the lovely cottage with all amenities were perfect. Wonderful hosts/owners were very easy to contact.

One of kind location

This cottage was everything we hoped it would be! The location is spectacular, the deck so relaxing and access to the beach so easy. The cottage is so cozy and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Francesa was an amazing host, was there to help with anything and such a pleasure to get to know.

The view, the sound of the ocean, the salt air. Was such a cute place. The local restaurants were terrific. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. Was a good stay.

Absolutely amazing!

The cottage was so quaint and cozy. It had everything that we needed, and then some. The hosts were the kindest, most helpful people and we really enjoyed getting to know them. They made our stay perfect. The beach was one of the most beautiful I’ve been to on the East coast. Everything was very clean, well kept, and just made for an overall perfect, relaxing week. The restaurants/shops in the area are fantastic as well. You can’t ask for a better place at the Jersey shore. 💖

My mom and dad purchased this home in 1976 so that our family would always have a place to convene for long weekends, summers and holidays. A place that would fit all of us comfortably, which it continues to do. Our hope is that you, too, will enjoy unwinding as you listen to the surf in this idyllic setting on the Jersey shore.

Why they chose this property

This is the only cottage for rent in Bay Head that is ON the ocean AND is ideally situated for strolling to the downtown shopping and dining area.
