The owners of Chez Les DuClos thought of everything you could need to thoroughly enjoy your stay in the mountains. The home was very welcoming and decorated for the holidays!
This is the second year in a row that my siblings and spouses have stayed at Chez Les DuClos. The home is beautiful and well appointed. There was plenty of space for everyone. The setting is so peaceful and private. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the deck and taking hikes on several of the nearby trails. The communication with the host was excellent.
This property is GORGEOUS. We loved the location, it was very well stocked and comfortable. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Lots of games to play, and we really enjoyed the views! Great value and overall experience. Thank you!
A spacious, comfortable, well-tended (very clean) space to relax and enjoy time with family. Lots of indoor and outdoor spaces at the house to relax and be together. Beautiful views from the deck and lots of places nearby for hiking and enjoying the mountains.
Chez Les DuClos is a fantastic family vacation property. Secluded, beautiful views, and nature make this a fantastic place to unwind and relax. Proximity to Divide and Woodland Park offer dining opportunities as well as access to any necessities you might need. Highly recommend!
Beautiful house, spectacular views. Location was spot on for everything we wanted to do. Enjoyed seeing the deer and chipmunks. For our first time in Colorado it was spot on and looking forward to coming back.
We stayed at this amazing cabin for the Christmas holiday. The cabin was beautiful with plenty of space for the kids to stretch out and not get bored exploring and playing the plentiful games available. The views are breathtaking of Pikes Peak and other ranges in the area. We had an amazing time.
This home is perfect for a small group/family! Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need LITERALLY! I forgot to bring kitchen/cooking items & this place had it all! Great views, clean home, & cozy blankets that I LOVED, even (boys) teenagers used them to bundle up on sofa! We enjoyed it all definitely a place to stay
We were in Colorado for a family reunion and this property was perfect for our stay! Everything we needed and more was at the property. Saw deer daily. Birds at the bird feeders was entertaining. We played lots of games drank lots of coffee and generally relaxed. Beautiful private property.
We stayed for a long Fathers Day weekend and really loved the privacy and the views this beautiful property had to offer. The downstairs area with kitchenette was perfect for my son, daughter-in-law, and their 6 month old baby. Everyone had their own space and the views were incredible! Well stocked kitchen, loved playing the available board games and corn hole! The only downside is the upstairs bedroom and bath does not have walls all the way to the ceiling which caused noise to carry and light to come into that bedroom if someone else was up. We would stay again, really beautiful property!
The property was fantastic!! More than enough space for my wife and myself and four of our teenaged children. The cabin was incredibly clean and very well stocked. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table playing games every night and going outside on the porch to look at the amazing amount of stars! Each morning was spent watching for deer (and the wild turkeys) and the other birds from the porch. Just a great trip made better by this beautiful property! Thank you!!
We enjoyed most of all the top floor picturesque view from reclining couch every morning and sundown. The tri-level porch access, the grill and convenience of two kitchen areas as well as 3 spacious bathrooms (one with soothing tub). We had full access to garage and we were able to easily access mud room from garage when needing to unload. No complaints, just compliments to the manager for getting us in and around construction in the neighborhood. We spent our days at Eleven Mile/Victor/Cripple Creek and Florissant Monument (a must see). Mostly we spent time with family in our cabin watching the wildlife. Thank you Chez Les DuClos!
The cabin is so cozy, losts of space for everyone, huge deck overlooking the mountains with great outdoor furniture. The garage kept our car out of the snow and ice. The kitchen was very clean and stocked with many essentials. The cabin sits at around 9.5k feet. Pictures don't do justice but you will be pleasantly surprised.
We did a ski trip to Monarch mountain and thats about 2 hour drive from the cabin, it is a very plesant drive with lots of sightseeing (Just make sure you book online for ski and pass). I will be coming back again. Thank you Christy for all the treats and allowing us to stay at your beautiful place.
I can't say enough about Christy and this property. Our extended family includes our 3 adult sons, daughter-in-law, mom, and aunt for a total of 8 adults.
The cabin is nicely decorated and very well equipped. Coming from Georgia we wanted the Colorado cabin experience and this didn't disappoint. We took in lots of local hiking trails and national park within 5 miles.
Loved the wildlife, we saw a large buck in the front yard. Would definitely book again.

Our second night in this lovely property was suddenly disrupted by the smoke alarms going off repeatedly at 5 a.m. Finally had to call 911 and fire dept. came out. Checked everything and decided the 6 smoke alarms on the property needed new batteries. Told mgmt. company; the next day they came, but only replaced batteries in one. That evening around 9 p.m. the alarms went off again! Called mgmt. co. and they came out and hard-wired all units. Two nights of interrupted/stressful sleepless nights!
Amazing place to stay. Mountainside home with amazing view.
This is an amazing home in a great get away location. It was fully stocked with basic items, clean, lots of extras you would not normally expect. Deer all over the place so don't be surprised if they are in the driveway or under the porch when you arrive. They wander by all day long and are used to people being around. This place is first class all they way. If you want great views, awesome accommodations in a secluded location look no further. We would absolutely come back here. Our only regret is that we did not have more time to stay here. You will not find a better place around in this price range. Be sure to see the wolf sanctuary nearby!
We wanted the "Cabin in the Mountains experience" and this property delivered beyond our expectations. So much to do in the area or just relax at the cabin and enjoy the views.
We hope to come back here again!
