The house was perfect for our Celebration of Life service at Moccasin Creek despite bad weather. Everyone was comfortable and we enjoyed having a big bonfire. We lost power during a hurricane that blew through but were happily entertained with all the games provided.

The house is gorgeous inside. Very put together with high-end finishes, comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. The host, Chris, was very responsive and kind. The house is at the end of a very shallow cove, which caused us to be unable to dock or even float on property for the entirety of our trip due to the lake being lowered. We were able to kayak out from the ground toward the main body of the lake. The interior was crisp and clean. The exterior included a chair that was ripped and furniture above the boat house that was too dirty to use. The grill was nice and stocked. The kitchen was very well stocked - and you can tell the house is loved!

Great house

This house is very well done, renovated and stocked. We enjoyed all of the outdoor areas and the great open floor plan. Is definitely tricky getting in and out with a boat and a bit of a hassle not being able to swim there but all in all our stay was great. Thank you for everything!

Great House for Exploring Lake Burton

This house was just a described in the listing and we enjoyed it very much. It’s quiet and relaxing and has been updated with a lot of tech. It even has electronic heated mirrors in the bathrooms. One king, master bedroom with a great bathroom. One Queen with a really nice bathroom. One Queen and one Twin complete the downstairs bedrooms. It has a very comfortable living room and an updated kitchen and table that we all sat around and played cards. The loft is at the top of a steep spiral staircase with two beds up there. I didn’t go all the way up but it didn’t look like you could close it off to the downstairs. All in all, a very nice, very comfortable indoors. We didn’t spend a lot of time outside at the house but the deck was nice with chairs and a dining table and the boathouse had a very pleasant sitting area too. It doesn’t have a lake view, it is on a canal leading to the lake, so keep that in mind if it’s important to you. It is super convenient (minutes) to public access to the lake and some wonderful hiking trails with streams and waterfalls. It was also close to several delicious restaurants. Overall: It’s a great house for a getaway and to spend time exploring the area.

Great Time!!

House was perfect for 2 families. We will definitely go again soon. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone was comfortable. The owner/manager was very responsive and it was easy to check in and check out. Can't wait to go back.

Lake Fun with Family and Friends

Very nice , modern home~ conveniently located to both marinas. We had our two jet skis and boat with us - plenty of room to keep at dock at house. The house is very spacious and great for large and small families. Also, safe area for young children - set in a private cove. Very peaceful . Also, the host’s communication was always quick and informative . We can’t wait to come back!

Shangri-La found

If you're in NEED for that relaxed, get lost, need to decompress moment in time than look no further!! Beautiful area. Plenty of indoor and outdoor areas for entertaining. Unparalleled taste in elegant decor. But best of all, the host, Christopher. The attention to detail and the genuine want to give his guests a memorable stay shows from the minute he makes contact. Will definitely return!!

Beautiful home on the water!

This home is one of the best we have ever stayed in, and we travel quite a bit. The owner is extremely responsive. There is EVERYTHING that you need in this home and more! Even kayaks. The beds are super comfy, and everything is upscale. Couldn’t have asked for better! Lots of great hiking nearby, and upscale restaurants too!

Great family getaway

We decided to spend a few days at this property for fall break and my 12 year old daughter’s birthday. Great location and beautiful home. The property owner left a happy birthday gift for our daughter upon arrival, which made the weekend very special. I would highly recommend this property and Lake Burton for families and adult trips.
