Old Timberline Inn - Lake Front Home with PRIVATE Sandy Beach Caroga Lake, NY

Open living room continues into dining area with seating for 8-12 people, adjoins the large welcoming kitchen for all the family to gather and create delicious meals. The kitchen is stocked with lots of utensils for the kitchen and the grill. There is a fully stocked coffee bar with a drip AND a Keurig coffeemaker There are lots of cookware and dishes, lots of different spices and pantry items to use. There is a full-sized refrigerator, oven and dishwasher. Fully equipped kitchen.

Bedrooms off the kitchen include a large "Bunk Room" with 2 sets of bunkbeds. Two private bedrooms each have queen size beds. There is also queen-size pull-out sofa bed int the living room and a twin air mattress available. Linens and towels are provided.

The bathroom full tub, sink and toilet. Some toiletries that are included.

Outdoors has an enormous private 200 ft lakefront sandy beach that leads off your private extended patio with ample outdoor furniture.

Take advantage of the flattop, propane and smoker grills. (propane included) Large grass lawn that has a gigantic fireplace with the lake as its background. Just AMAZING!!

The beach has beautiful soft sand, gradual decline from house all the way into the lake, great for children and family. Dock can hold watercraft and a variety of boats.

There is a gazebo for lounging with a bit of privacy, great for morning coffee and listening to the loons You can also host a ceremony on the gazebo. Extended grass area with room for all kinds of outdoor games. Volleyball. horseshoe pit, corn hole boards and polish horseshoes. Large outdoor fireplace for evening gatherings.

Pine Lake is a pristine lake where you can enjoy any variety of water activities, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Life jackets are included.

The view from the property is breathtaking. Nearby day hikes can start directly out the door of our property that include Nine Corner Lake and the Kane Mountain Fire Tower.

Beautiful colors in the fall, and an abundance of snow in the winter/spring. Some of the best snowmobiling trails, cross-country skiing with Lapland Nordic Vacation destination less than 25 min away! Skiing at Royal Mountain (10 miles)

The Adirondack Mountains are one of the largest vacation areas in all of Upstate New York... come check out why the area is loved by all who visit!!!!

There is plenty of free parking in the front and back of home.

Amazing Place !!

The best and cleanest place we have stayed in by far here in Caroga !!! The location was perfect and the private beach was amazing. We were there for the 4th and the front row fireworks were stunning ! Hope to stay there again !!

Another great family vacation at Pine Lake

We had another great family vacation at Pine Lake. Tiffany made our stay wonderful as usual. We had a couple days of less than ideal weather but we were still able to play on the beach and go in the water! There are so many games and books in the house that we were able to use and have family fun while we watched the storm over the lake. We just left and already can’t wait y til next year.

Awesome place to stay!

The house and property were amazing! The location on the water is perfect for swimming and playing in the sand. The house was very clean and had everything you need plus more! Lots of extras, they thought of everything. Beds were comfy. We hope to return again next Summer! Tiffany was very helpful. Also, ice cream within walking distance was a huge plus for our families.

Great Family Vacation

Our family came back to Pine Lake for a second year in a row and stayed for a longer time…. It was that much better. We had beautiful weather, enjoyed the beach, and were able to relax for the week. Tiffany was more than accommodating. She called before we arrived and made sure everything was ready to go for when we arrived. Highly recommend this property for a fun family vacation.

Private House on the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay here. The private beach was perfect for the kids and adults to play in the lake. Downside was a spider problem outside the house, and yes every house on the lake has some bugs inside. Two of the bunk bed mattresses are kicked, and cause pain to whoever sleeps in them. The bedroom floor plan requires two bedrooms to walk through the master bedroom to get to them. The sunrise is amazing from the property. Highlights were swimming, kayaking, and the kids enjoyed the short walk to the ice-cream stand. We hope to stay again.

Great Getaway on Pine Lake

The place was a great getaway at the end of the summer. Mick Jagger and Jim Morrison even stopped into the camp for a Saturday night concert.

Amazing weekend getaway

We enjoyed every bit of our weekend getaway. The view was amazing, having our own private beach was 100 percent the best. We felt like home. Thank you so much. We plan to return and rent both upstairs and down.

Fantastic Family Vacation

My wife and I and our 2 children were looking for a vacation home to rent that had access to a beach. Lisa's place was absolutely fantastic! From the minute we walked in the door, we knew it would be a place we would like to rent again. Lisa left us a welcome note with a bottle of wine and bar nuts. The beach was directly out front and was very private. The public beach was somewhat removed because it was separated by a boat launch. We were very lucky with the weather and our kids were able to play in the sand and water every day. We had a great time using the kayak and the canoe and my wife and I played our share of washer toss games. We were even able to watch the Buffalo Bills pre-season game on tv! Thanks for our stay Lisa and we hope to be able to rent both units next summer!

Perfect One Family Getaway

We had a great long weekend stay at this VRBO. Lisa answered all the questions I had before arrival and upon arrival we were greeted with a nice welcome letter, bottle of wine, and some snacks. There were lots of extras in the house like coffee available, and some condiments, a basket full of sunscreen in case you forgot your own. Everything in the house was brand new except the air conditioning. There was one wall unit in the living room only. Thankfully it cooled down at night so it wasn’t problem. The outside is a dream. Your backyard is the beach with your own private piece of the lake. We brought our own kayaks but really didn’t need to. They offered two kayaks and a canoe. If you wake up early for sunrise, they truly are beautiful over the lake and it is so still and quiet in the morning the water looks like glass. Our kids loved swimming, jumping off the dock, paddle boarding, and boating. The ice cream shop a very short walking distance was another plus. I also caught the large mouth bass of a lifetime right from their dock. The large fire pit situated at the waterfront was awesome for roasting hot dogs and s’mores. They had very nice beach chairs available for use as well. A few things to keep in mind when renting this property: come prepared with your food. The closest grocery store is about 40 minutes but general stores with minor odds and ends are local. There currently is not a washer or dryer because they’re back ordered, thanks COVID. There are also not many dining options local so we brought our meals to cook and eat outside looking at the beauty of the lake and mountainside. We were very lucky to have this property to ourself but soon the upstairs will be renovated and the outdoor space would be shared with other possible renters upstairs. My only regret in renting this property is that we could not stay longer. You won’t be disappointed!

Family Fun At Pine Lake Lodge.

The lodge was perfect, beautiful views, great accommodations, fun on on the lake from dawn to dusk. The owners are thoughtful and caring, everything you could possibly want, every detail was perfect. We literally just had to unpack,relax and enjoy.

Absolutely amazing view!!!!!!

Our family vacation was everything we hoped it would be and more, from the booking process to check in it was extremely easy. Lisa was very helpful answering questions and doing everything she could to make our stay memorable. Our family arrived on Saturday and the children immediately went to the Private beach which is amazing for all ages, we kayaked, canoed, dished off the dock, went for walks, enjoyed ice cream at the ice cream shop next door and enjoyed our nightly campfires roasting s’mores and popping popcorn......we played badminton for hours on the beach even had a family tournament, the kids enjoyed wiffle ball on the yard which is very spacious and we even played a game of kickball. The neighbors were all very friendly and welcoming. During the week we rented a boat 🚣‍♂️ Canada Lake where we enjoyed morning fishing and nightly sunsets, the little lake store had fresh picked cucumbers, Tomatoes and corn on the cob there is a deli there that makes subs & salads along with a great little store..... Friday we drove to Lake George and walked the village and then went to Adirondack Extreme where there was fun had by all ages!!!!! Saturday we visited Caroga Lake where there was a car show at Sherman’s and a community wide garage sale, and that evening there was music on the lawn where families gathered and enjoyed the music and one another’s company!!!!! The house is spacious with a large dining room table where we enjoyed nightly famliy We look forward to visiting Timberline Lane in the near future make sure you stop in a buy some Pine Lake T-shirts’ or sweatshirts and most of all we look forward to making more family memories on Pine Lake ( the best kept secret there is in the Adirondacks)
