PROPERTY OVERVIEW
Discover ultimate relaxation amid our Blue Ridge Mountain indulgences at your 6BR 4BA mountain getaway just an hour outside of Washington, D.C. and 30 minutes from Dulles International Airport.

This modern lodge rental consists of recently remodeled inside from top to bottom and boasts a prime outdoor entertaining space overlooking the entire Washington D.C. Metro Area. We have just installed a first floor walk out patio and doubled the size of our second-story deck. We are making available an outdoor fire pit and a spectacular yard with a private view equipped with al fresco dining, outdoor entertainment, and dog friendly environment.

Step outside your door and drive just within 15 minutes to multiple Western Loudoun Wineries, Breweries, our favorite local dining experiences and eclectic shops.

LIVING AREAS
The Lodge at Bear Rock features a two-story open concept living and dining room equipped with comfortable luxury modern furniture and 80in SmartTV with all the streaming apps. The windows provide top to bottom natural light with incredible views.

On the bottom level of the lodge we have transformed the space with a SmartTV, lounge area and a wet-bar for evening cocktails out on our new patio and deck with game tables.

KITCHEN and DINING
The well equipped retro modern kitchen includes sub-zero refrigerator/freezer and chef level appliances and large island for hors d'oeuvres and wine tastings. Dine or lounge next to a dual-sided wood burning fireplace at the six person table or our second eight person table.

BEDROOMS and BATHS
The lodge has a total of six bedrooms that sleep up to 12 guests. Four full bathrooms are each stocked with a complimentary supply of luxury towels, toiletries and bath amenities.

The primary bedroom has a king bed, wood burning fireplace, and an ensuite bath with a modern walk-in shower and attached to a bedroom with a twin daybed and twin trundle. The second lodge bedroom is furnished with a king bed and attached to a fourth bedroom that has twin bunk beds. The second bath includes a soaking tub/shower full bathroom.

On the main floor the bedroom has a king bed and across the hall from a full bath with a walk-in shower. In the newly remodeled basement floor, we have a sixth bedroom with a queen bed and an ADA compliant ensuite bath with walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS
Relax outside on our new trex deck that has overlooks views over the entire DC Metro Area, and below is equally sixed patio from our new walk out basement living area. Enjoy your favorite cocktail, local craft beer or wine on a private 15 acres of mountain side views. Our new two-tiered yard will accommodate your party’s special occasion or happy hour after a long day of offsite planning.

LoudounStay has a Guest Concierge full time employee that reaches out to every guest that books with a LoudounStay property. Outside of the signature standardized services/amenities, we have partnerships with catering, chef experience, sommeliers, transportation, wineries, outdoor/adventure companies and many more that we coordinate with to build customized experiences.

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting

Disappointed and broke

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We went to the Lodge at Bear Rock on Tuesday 1/9. The place is beautiful. At first, I felt it was no one’s fault, the place had been inundated with a 100 year storm and there was water in the basement that we needed to clean up, water was dripping down the fireplace in the master bed room on the second floor. But, as the rain had stopped and we were on a meditation retreat, I had requested we not be interrupted by a handyman. I had sent pictures of water bubbling outside which later turned out to be simply drainage from higher elevations. The handyman interrupted us twice. He was kind and trying to be responsive. The two large garbage cans were full to overflowing from prior renters and we noticed this on Wednesday and let them know. No one came. We had no place to put our garbage. Thursday we let them know again that it was still there and still no one come. By Friday, still no one came. The inside garbage (ours) couldn’t be brought outside. By Thursday night we had all decided to leave a day earlier and I respectfully requested a refund for us leaving a day earlier. The closing duties to be done by us required us to do the towels but no laundry soap is provided AND they charged us a linen fee! Even though we did it! Two loads that WE did with our laundry soap! They refused to give us a discount or refund for the last day. So for arriving late Tuesday and leaving early Friday (before 11) we were charged almost $4,000. I’m shocked and wish I had never rented from Loudoun Stay. They are always kind and respectful but I feel gouged and won’t be talked out of staying with VRBO next time. We initially found the place through VRBO and were told we could SAVE if we changed to Loudoun Stay. Don’t be fooled.

Great house!

This modern-rustic cabin in the woods has been updated to be very comfortable for our group of 6. We went for the xmas holiday and had a wonderful time. The number of bedroom/bathroom were conflicting on the website. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear (no spices beyond salt/pepper so plan to bring everything that you will need). There is no icemaker but plenty of dish towels which was great. Everything worked well in the kitchen and house in general. The two sided fireplace was difficult to contain the smoke in so we didn’t use it as much as we would have liked. There was plenty of firewood on the property to use but it was mostly green wood that was hard to burn. I would bring some fire logs of your own for sake of ease. The bathrooms are all renovated and comfortable. The main floor bathroom was tiny with one towel bar and one hook so not a lot of places to hang your towels etc. there is very limited counter space and no closets in the bedrooms which made our room very cramped with luggage etc. A few more hooks in the bed and bath would make it easier to use. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. One complaint was only two towels were provided in the bathrooms. 4 would have been great. The furnishings were comfortable and plenty of seating for all. I loved the two dining table options. There a handful of games provided as well. Internet and tv worked great. It’s a lovely area to visit & we enjoyed the brewery down the street and vineyards.
