This property is in a safe, quiet neighborhood. We decided to go without a rental car and found this was a reasonable option as it was close to downtown and mass transit. While the overhead airplane noise took a bit of getting used to, the overall neighborhood was safe and quiet. The accommodations of the rental are adequate for 2 travelers in my mind. More than that would be tight. Jose (the host) was very approachable and helpful with any local activity suggestions.

The Real Miami

The Ochoa Family has been in The Roads for the better part of a century. With so much turnover and turmoil in the world, it's good to be able to stay somewhere that is not just a "Home Away From Home" but an actual home. While you have your own half of a duplex here, you also will enjoy the many stories the family has to offer as you navigate arguably the best neighborhood in all of South Florida. Enjoy your trip. This is the real Miami.
