Beautiful Cozy Bedroom In Great B&B Historic Home ~ Close To The City Center

This house celebrates and embraces the wonderful diversity of this great country. We welcome with arms stretched wide, our brothers and sisters of all races,creeds and sexual orientation. Together we will not build walls but a magnificent future for our children and future generations.
This is one of two bedrooms in a lovely bed and breakfast historic home. It is medium sized bedroom, delightful, with 4 large old windows overlooking the garden and a large mango tree. Full size vintage bed. Lots of light. There is a small sitting area by the window perfect for reading. DVD & music library our guests are welcome to use.
The location is fantastic! we are close to Wynwood, Brickell, the Health District, Downtown, and we are 10 minutes drive time to South Beach, Little Havana and half a block from the Marlins stadium. The neighborhood is peaceful, and our street has a beautiful green canopy. Access to 836 ,I95 and 395 is just a couple of blocks away, making this location ideal for both work and play.
Our check in time is 2PM and thereafter until 11PM & our check-out time is 10AM. If you need to come in later than 11 PM, just let us know to accommodate you. We request from our guests to provide us with a one-hour window for arrival preferably one day before check in.
Our guests have access to the garden, living and dining room and to the kitchen for heating pre cooked meals. No cooking or prep work is allowed. We do not allow smoking anywhere in the property, including the gardens.

Beautiful, unique property! Inez and Tom are terrific hosts. I’ve stayed here twice in the last year and had a wonderful time in both instances. One of the best parts is that the house is shaded by a lot of trees, so even on a boiling hot day, the house is fairly cool.

Calm, Serenity, feels like a home a hug and safe.

The opposite of what's outside in the big city of Miami. Inez has made a wonderful thoughtful retreat with vintage art and furnishings. Clean, excellent fresh breakfast, will stay the next time I am in Miami. Highly recommend.

Peaceful stay

Such a cool place

An awsome older home that has been beautifully renavated and lovingly cared for with a wonderful garden area. Ines was such a gracious host. She served a great breakfast with humble and open kindness. She, made us feel at home and added so much to our trip. 10/10 would highly recomend.

Inez was the perfect host and my stay was a lovely experience.

I loved the quaint cottage home and the location was perfect. Inez's hospitality was as perfect as the garden that surrounds the B&B. My room over looked the backyard oasis and was simply delightful...especially when the cafe lights were on. Breakfast was yummy, room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. My family was also in town and stayed at other places...their experience was subpar compared to my stay. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly and warm experience.

Well located and warmly welcomed

Ines was very helpful in orienting us to Miami upon our arrival. She had good recommendations for us. We were able to get easily to Little Havana, Key Biscayne, the Wynwood district and Miami Beach with our rental car. Enjoyed the healthy breakfast. All was neat and clean.

Miami B & B amazing experience!

We had a delightful time staying at this beautiful home. Innes was an amazing host. We learned so much about Miami asks for great recommendations. Home away from Home

Ms. Ines was very warm from the get go with her greeting. Very clean stay and cozy. When I can sleep heavy through the night, im comfortable and that's not often! I will definitely stay there again my next trip to Miami Florida I would highly recommend staying here you're in the middle of Miami 20 minutes away from everything safe and nice neighborhood at that.

Home sweet home in Miami

I’ve been to over 25 countries and always stay at Airbnb’s (or VRBO’s) and this was one of my favorites ever. Ines was so kind, thoughtful and respectful. She had breakfast ready for us every morning and gave us ideas, recommendations and tips on what to do with our time in Miami. The house itself was very clean, fun and quirky. We won’t hesitate a second to recommend our friends to stay in this place and if we happen to stay in Miami again we will be back! Thank you for everything, we highly recommend!

Superhost, yes, we met her here on this address!

I believe Inez has a special eye for guests and can adjust her suggestions on "what to do" or "where to eat" according to everyones needs. A very charming house with a tropical garden well situated on walking distance from Calle Ocho. We really enjoyed staying as your guests. Maybe we'll meet again. The room and home are clean and comfortable and breakfast is delicious. The garden is gorgeous too. But more importantly Ines is amazing! She is warm and welcoming as well as helpful and insightful. Ines also does a nice job balancing community with privacy. She would chat for a bit and then leave us to our own discussion and conversation. We found the property because of its proximity to Loandepot park but we would recommend it to anyone wanting to feel at home away from home. One comment: there aren't many restaurants or shops close at hand. Most things besides the Marlins are Uber rides away- not steps. However, I strongly recommend this B&B. It added a wonderful dimension to our mini- vacation.

Tropical Oasis In Little Havana

My husband and I wanted to visit Little Havana for a couple days prior to a cruise. This charming property was absolutely perfect! It is a tropical oasis within walking distance to some of the best bars and restaurants in Little Havana. Our host, Ines, was lovely and extremely accommodating. Breakfasts were beautiful presentations of pastries, fresh fruit, freshly pressed juice from the mango tree on the property, and delicious Columbian coffee. We fell in love with Carlitos, the sweet kitty who roams the property. The bathroom had a variety of products to use in case you forgot anything at home. We stayed in the cottage in the backyard and loved it so much that we cancelled our plans to watch our football game at a bar and stayed “home” instead. We have stayed at B&Bs around the world and this one was by far, the most accommodating and well equipped we’ve ever stayed at. Thank you, Ines!! ❤️

An oasis of kindness

I stayed with a buddy for 5 nights in one of Mrs. Cortez's abolutely cozy rooms. You have everything you need here. A comfortable bed to relax, a clean bathroom, a great porch and a beautiful garden. Not to forget the also lovingly furnished dining and living room. What can I say. You want to stay in an authentic neighborhood in the middle of Miami's trendy areas? This is the right place for you! With a cab or Uber you are within a few minutes wherever you want to go in Miami. We were provided with all the information about the sights (cultural and culinary) in and around Miami. She also knew the perfect places to go for activities like boat tours or kayaking in the Everglades. Ms. Cortez was a really great hostess. She is always happy to help with any small problems or questions. Don't be afraid to ask her! Every morning we received an extremely delicious breakfast. And if our time didn't allow it, she prepared a breakfast to go. Isn't that nice?! There is no better way to experience a vacation in Miami. Clear recommendation! I say thank you to Mrs. Cortez!

A lovely setting in a verdant garden. The interior of the house is a virtual museum of unusual and interesting artifacts from all over the world, tastefully displayed. Breakfast is excellent. Everything is made with natural ingredients. The host, Ines, is a well-traveled, well-read, elegant lady with discerning tastes. Couples or individuals with interests in history and other cultures will be very much at home there. I would not recommend bringing small children as there are too many temptations of beautiful things they would want to touch.

Still some way to go before reaching the best

The breakfast spread was absolutely delightful with daily rotations, and the hosts radiated genuine warmth. That said, I couldn't help noticing subtle indications of their current struggles - whether financial constraints or personal matters. While I'd enthusiastically award a perfect 10 in solidarity, a strictly objective assessment would place it at 8.5-9/10 range. This remains an outstanding rating by any measure!

Great stay, perfect host!

We loved to stay at Ines place, she is the perfect host! She accommodated my husband’s culinary requirements perfectly and the food was yummy! Also her recommendations were great. The bed was a bit squeaky and we realized how close the airport is when we heard the planes. Still a great place to stay!

I was born in Bogota, Colombia and I have been living in the states, specifically Miami, for the last 30 years. I went to law school in Colombia but early on I decided to abandon law and dedicated myself to different creative projects. I have traveled to India, Africa, Mexico, Guatemala. Nepal and Cambodia among others. I love beautiful things, color, kindness, honor and friendship. I love being a VRBO host. I know a little about Miami and share that knowledge gladly with my guests.

Why they chose this property

When I saw this home for the first time I realized the house had chosen me. We were bound by my love for old architecture, Florida pine floors, crown moldings a floor plan that was not an open plan and, oh my god, the lime green bathroom tiles. I liked the neighborhood and the way the house sat on the lot with 2 cypress trees side by side. She looked like an elegant girl going to her first ball. Through the years the house has changed but the essence is the same. Because I love color, the house is no longer white/white, because I love plants and flowers, butterflies and birds, I planted and planted again and again, shrubs, flowers, bamboo trees. Some grew, some did not but I filled the garden with green and have enjoyed it totally ever since.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with the tile on the porch and you will to ,( just wait and see) the arches, the mango tree, the long green entrance by the side of the house, the small and delightful back yard and the great front porch.
