The pictures of the property are not what you see when you check in. The lawns were not mowed, many weeds in flower beds, no lawn chairs in back yard to relax, no table and 4 chairs in sunroom to relax, no sofa in theater room, the oven was so filthy that when we turned oven on to bake a pizza, the kitchen and part of the downstairs filled with smoke. We didn’t use the barbecue because it was grossly dirty on the inside and out. The coffee pot had not been cleaned for sometime as we had to soak it for it to come clean. When we brought these issues of cleanliness to the owner, we were told to put new aluminum foil in the oven and to clean the barbecue ourselves. The oven hasn’t been cleaned for who knows how long as well as the barbecue. The home has a for sale sign in the front yard and multiple cars would park and come to the front yard to take a picture, which made us feel uncomfortable. We weren’t sure if the property was being shown while we were staying there. As a suggestion, the owner should have told us if the house was being shown or not. Overall, we would not recommend this property.

Please see all the other reviews right before and after this one as they are 5 star with no issues, this is a false representation of our property. House is never shown during a rental stay. Some furniture has changed but all rooms are usable and plenty of furniture to accommodate guests. Yard maintenance is every Tuesday.

My family absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful historic mansion! The beds were comfortable, and the spacious layout was more than enough for the six of us. The home was immaculate, full of charm, and ideally located.Guests should plan to bring their own shampoo, conditioner, and blow dryer, as those items were not provided (which we also never expect to be at vacation rentals). The owner was very responsive and quick to answer our question when we reached out.Overall, we highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Great Space

We had multiple adults that need their own private space and this house offers that!We enjoyed that it had plenty of common spaces to spread out and enjoy the company of extended family. I will rent this property again should the occasion arise. Property management was excellent to communicate with. They were able to accommodate us with an early check-in. We had a great time!

Nice place

House was well laid out for multiple generations. Plenty of seating. Kitchen well stocked could use a few more serving bowls and a couple more pots if you are trying to serve a crowd. Beds were very comfortable.
