About this property
LUNAR TIDES - 3 BR/2 BA - Your dream vacation spot! Private Pool - 1 Golf Cart
Your dream vacation to an island paradise is just a few clicks away!
Lunar Tides is located on the barrier island of North Captiva just off the coast of Southwest Florida. This island is ONLY accessible via boat or private single engine plane that lands on a grass runway open to the water on both ends!
Once you step foot on the boat (or plane!) you are on island time! You will be reminded of old Florida with the laid-back simplicity on the island and think you are in the Caribbean with the beautiful turquoise waters!
North Captiva is home to four miles of pristine white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and Pine Island Sound. Even on the busiest of weeks, you will feel like you are on your own private island. Hop on your golf cart and set out to explore! The only transportation on the island is electric golf carts and bicycles!
Explore Florida’s untouched wilderness! North Captiva is home to 350 acres of Nature Preserve that lead you South to the most private of beaches and a handful of fully off the grid homes. Here you will find Gopher tortoises, bobcats, coyotes, a variety of snakes (non-venomous!), racoons, birds and so much more.
Florida is known as the fishing capital of the world and whether it is by boat or surf fishing your catch will be plentiful! North Captiva is a great night spot for shark and snook fishing and just a short boat ride to Boca Grande Pass which is the Tarpon Capital of the World! People come from around the world to Tarpon fish right here in our backyard! Redfish, snapper, triple tail, and grouper are just a few of the other popular fish located in our pristine waters.
North Captiva is home to four restaurants; Mainstay and Barnacles bar, Mangos, Over the Waterfront and The Boathouse, all with their own style but guaranteed to offer a great time!
Once you arrive on island, our property manager will meet you at the dock to assist you and your guests with luggage to the house. You won’t have to lift a finger as they will load everything onto golf carts and bring everything inside the house.
Grocery stocking services are available prior to and during your stay. Imagine arriving to a pre-stocked kitchen with cold drinks ready to head to the beach!
Lunar Tides offers its own tropical paradise with lush landscaping surrounding the house and even features a gorgeous tropical oasis in the backyard as the house sits on a double lot!
Lunar Tides features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with sleeping arrangements for 6 people.
The king master suite situated on the West side of the house offers privacy from the other guest rooms, a walk-in shower with a dual sink vanity and Roku tv.
The two guest rooms located across the house share a bathroom with tub/shower combo and single vanity. The first of two guest rooms offer a king size bed. The second of the two guest rooms are a great spot for kids with two twin beds, books, puzzles and games galore!
The large open kitchen is great for entertaining and enjoying the company of friends and family while preparing meals. It boasts gorgeous walnut finished cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, under cabinet lighting, crown molding, all the necessary kitchen gadgets, and small appliances as well as whole house reverse osmosis! Whole house reverse osmosis means no need to lug heavy water from the mainland and the refrigerator offers cold filtered water!
The dining table seats four and the breakfast bar offers additional seating for four. The living room is open to the dining room and kitchen area and features plenty of seating for everyone whether it be relaxing on the couch, chairs or at the adorable writing desk! The living room also offers a Roku tv for streaming of whatever you prefer.
Need internet? No problem! Lunar Tides has the best available internet and Wi-Fi on the island so no worries if you want to watch tv while someone else has a Zoom meeting.
Both the front and back porch have wide open decks with additional seating. Want to enjoy the cooler morning sun? Take a seat out back while watching the Gopher tortoises eat in the back yard. Too hot in the afternoon? No problem, the front porch is a beautiful shady spot with overhead ceiling fans. Here you will also find the electric grill. No need to stress about running low on propane or fussing with lighting charcoal. Relax and enjoy our new heated private pool.
Lunar Tides comes with a North Captiva Island Club membership which allows use of the facilities two pools, hot tub, tennis courts, basketball hoop, kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes!
Whether you want to kick back on the porch and read a book, head to the beach, collect shells, take a bike ride through the nature preserve, kayak the canals and harbor in search of manatees or explore the island by golf cart (one golf cart included with your stay), the possibilities are endless.
Sit back, relax, leave the stress of day-to-day life behind on the mainland and come enjoy a little island time at Lunar Tides!
