You’ll find plenty of opportunities for fun times together in the recreation room and the pool area. Incidentally, you can also enjoy some lovely swimming experiences at Skive Badeland. Outside, there’s a sandpit and swings for the little ones, and the grounds offer plenty of opportunities for play.



Just 200 metres away, you’ll find a pétanque court, a sandpit and a ball games pitch. The beach is very child-friendly and also ideal for fishing and sailing. Whatever the season, you can stroll along the beach, go boating, fish and take a leisurely stroll through Holstebro’s very pleasant pedestrian zone. The town also has plenty to offer culturally, particularly in terms of music and theatre. Silkeborg is idyllically situated by lakes, and here you’ll also find Klosterheden, Denmark’s largest man-made forest. If you’d like to experience a proper breeze, it’s just a half-hour drive to the North Sea. Also well worth a visit are the Jyllandsakvariet and the Kystcenter in Thyborøn. Don’t forget to buy some fresh or smoked fish at the fish market afterwards. In Hjerl Hede you’ll see old half-timbered houses, whilst the limestone quarries in Mønsted and Dauberg are another attraction in the region. Would you like some more ideas for things to do?
