Redwood Glen Castle! A wonderful place to stay!

Amazing home with over 4700 Sq Ft of space for your group! This place is suitable for weddings, business receptions or just a nice get away! Situated on 10 acres, this fantastic home is full furnished for your vacation use! Dramatic rooms with painted domes in the downstairs makes your feel like you are in another world! 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths for your use. There is a huge master bedroom on the first floor. Lovely courtyards with fine plantings and walkways complete the Redwood Glen Castle.

There may be someone staying at the Apartment at the Castle. Please greet them! The other people may be in the apartment above the 3 garages. It will not where you will stay.

Enjoy the Redwood Glen Castle! I hope you come back! We have people that have come to the Redwood Glen Castle three times! It's very spacious! Five bedrooms 3 1/2 baths. Game table top in the family room for poker with chips. One bedroom has bunks in it with a bathroom shared with the king room upstairs. You have to go through another room to get to the bunk room.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Castle. Everything was really well marked getting to the house and also in the house. The house is huge, which the kids loved. They also enjoyed petting and feeding the resident mouser outside the house (Felix the Cat). The house is a short 5 min drive into town and also a great place to stay if you’re heading north to the Redwoods or west to Fort Bragg. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Willits again.

Our family stay at the “Castle” was absolutely perfect!!! Our 7 grandchildren from 12 to 23 enjoyed the game room and ping pong in the garage. We 7 adults enjoyed gathering to visit in the courtyard and the living room. The kitchen and dining room has cupboards full of everything needed to create large family meals. We sincerely appreciated our host’s Frank & Diane!!!

Redwood Glen Castle

We had a wonderful stay. The host was great and responsive. The house was beautiful, spacious with big kitchen and lots of amenities. Great beds with cozy linens and blankets! A great experience, would love to stay here again next time. Highly recommended.

A Wonderful House

Our original accommodations fell through about a month before our planned stay. Thankfully we found this place and it worked perfectly. Diane was very helpful and accommodating to our last minute needs. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a charming, large house.

Incredible Location, Beautiful home, Amazing for family wedding/birthday party

We had a wonderful time with family and friends, fully furnished, decor was elegant in the great room, dining, living, recreation room and kitchen. Appliances were well kept, cookware, glassware, tableware, serviette, dinnerware and cookware were pretty new and well stacked. Kids has wonderful time with foosball, monopoly and other games in the home. Enjoyed watching DirectTV and youtube.

Wonderful Castle experience!!

Diane and Frank's redwood castle is a gem tucked away in the woods near Willits. It was perfect for our large group of adults and kids along with a pet dog as we spent our labor day weekend in Mendo county. We were able to cook all of our meals with a fully equipped kitchen, plentiful seating for all of us and bedding arrangements worked out great as well. Foosball and Ping Pong were an excellent timepass at the Castle as were the many TV options in the different rooms. Above all, Diane was great with communications, right from booking to check-in as well as during the stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Mendocino county.

Great Weekend Group Gathering

We enjoyed the Redwood Glen castle on August 18 through the 20th of 2023. Our motorcycle club was amazed at the beautiful castle courtyard and the spacious parking area outside. The three car garage space was also great to park 8 Harley‘s in it. all of the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. These guys said that the sleeping accommodations suited us with there being eight individual beds. Very clean kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the courtyard at night, sharing some beers and drinks. A great Get away after riding all day up the California coast. if we ever think of going up that way again, we will look into renting the Redwood Glen Castle for sure . Thank you, Richard G.

The house is nice. Calling it a castle may be a bit of a stretch of the imagination. It is a fairly large house though. It was clean, had everything we needed minus a foosball (there was a ping pong ball on the foosball table instead of an actual foosball) kind of a bummer since we were looking forward to playing but not a huge deal. We played ping pong located in the garage instead. We did have to cut that early though because there was another tenant who rented a room above the garage and we didn't want to be too loud disturbing them in the evening. There was nothing in the description stating there would be another guest staying above the garage. Again, not a huge deal. My main issue was the fact that in order to reach the bedroom with the bunk beds you would first have to cross through into another bedroom first, no other way in or out. Im assuming the bunk bed room was a large walk in closet at one point converted into a bed room. Less of a problem if you are staying here with family but i was here with friends and a few couples who understandably preferred their privacy and this created a bit of an issue. Wish the listing would have mentioned this. Overall the house was clean, The location is nice and private. Diane was responsive and even allowed one guest to bring a dog last minute for a very reasonable rate.

We had a wonderful stay. Diane was attentive and pleasant to talk with. She went above an beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. She allowed us to host my nephews wedding at the house and it was perfect. Plenty of space for all of us a beautiful back drop for the wedding.

We have 4 vacation rentals in Mendocino county. We enjoy meeting new people. Frank works on the land at our ranch or at the Redwood Glen castle and I do most of the bookings. I am a full time realtor. We bought the Redwood Glen in 2021 and furnished the house. 2 kings beds, 2 queens, 2 sets of bunks and 2 floor futons. Floors are heated in the winter. Air conditioning in the summer.

This is a unique property with large courtyards and we have had weddings here. Contact us if you want to book an event. The house is grand and the views are lovely. We chose it for its unique style. We purchased it because it is close to Willits whit with access to the movie theate, restaurants and fast food.

Sleeps 12 and possibly more with children who are in cribs or floor futons. Beautifully decorated with casual areas and formal dining room and living room. Huge eat in kitchen with a large island and a big pantry. Great for large groups to gather.
