The cabin was absolutely perfect! Great little space, nice kitchen with a coffee bar, and wonderful view! There's lots of space if you have kids for them to play outside and a large DVD collection/indoor activities if the weather isn't great. It was just my partner and I this time, but I am already planning to come back, hopefully next summer, with the entire family.
Overall nice stay, I felt the price was just a touch high. Pillows need replaced. bedroom door need to remain open to get heat into them. not much you can do about that with the age and style of cabin.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was excellent and the lake is beautiful. Also close to many breath taking natural features in the UP.
Not many renters when we were there so not sure about privacy when busy. There is lots to do for kids and space for large groups. Nice set-up. Thumbs up!
Nice, clean family oriented cabins on Manistique Lake with plenty of activities onsite for the entire family. Not far from the UP's north eastern Lake Superior coast, beaches and Tahquamenon Falls.
Went up north for a snowmobiling weekend, and this was the perfect spot. Clean, quiet, and trails were very accessible. 2 Stores within 5 mins, or ride across the lake for fun. Owners were great! Will stay here again!
Brandon went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Cabin is in a great location for snowmobiles. Easy trail access and a gas station near by. Definitely recommend this place.
We enjoyed out stay at Sarah's older cabin. Its bedrooms are spacious (master bed extremely comfortable with pillow type selection) and the kitchen / family room cozy and functional. Kitchen appeared to be well stocked with cooking needs - although we did not cook much besides breakfast. Plan to drive a bit to get to a local restaurant or grocery store.. You will need to provide any food or drink items. There is a wide open recreation area in front of the multiple cabins. Kids and adults will adore this - with playground, waterfront, kayaks/ canoes, fire pit, , etc available. Area is nice and quiet and star gazing a plus!! We had cottage 3. We suggested a few repairs needed. We were able to do easy day trips from this location to Painted Rocks National Seashore / Paradise / Kitch-iti-kipi/ casino / and Soo Locks. Sarah was very pleasant and responsive. Good value for this popular area.
Now, this place is one of 9 units on the largest of 3 Manistique lakes stretching N and S. No frills in the cabin, which we were just fine with. Our family spent 2 days hanging out on site and locally, and 2 going to the UP attractions ... kids were equally satisfied doing either and everything we wanted to do was under an hour away. Would stay again.
