This home is modern and very relaxing with an open floor plan. The living room has a large flat screen smart tv, electric fireplace and a large window to bring in tons of sunlight. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets, a lot of granite counter space with stainless appliances that include refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, electric stovetop with overhead exhaust and microwave. The dining room has a oval table that seats six with a large window providing plenty of sunlight. The top floor also has two bedrooms. One bedroom is large with a queen bed, deep walk-in closet and a large window overlooking the back deck and wooded scenery. Another bedroom is slightly smaller with two closets and a large window looking out to the front of the house. The lower level has a large master bedroom with three closets and an attached custom bathroom with a very large walk-in shower. The family room has a large flat screen smart TV with two sofas and ottoman, a dry bar and patio doors that walk out to the large deck. This home also has a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

This property was hands down amazing for our family group of 10!! The property was clean and fully stocked for our needs! The neighbors were all kind and friendly and their pets were super sweet!! We would definitely stay again if were in the area!! Great host and experience!!

Beautiful home!

My mom, husband, toddler, and myself stayed at this home while in WV visiting some family. This place was beautiful! And the location was perfect as well! Will for sure stay here again when visiting family!

Great Home

I'm a little late with this review. We stayed at the end of August and it was the perfect central spot for all the areas of West Virginia we wanted to explore. The has was clean and the perfect size for my family. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to the expressways. I had a few questions while there and I got fast responses back to my questions. I have nothing negative to say about the house or our stay. If the owner is interested I do have a couple of suggestions for somethings that could be added to make the stay even better. A small table and chairs would be nice in the downstairs area for playing cards, games or making a puzzle that way you wouldn't have to use the dining table for those things. Also a few larger cooking utensils, I had to stir pasta with a spatula as there was no large cooking spoons. Also a measuring cup would be nice. This in no way took away from the nice stay we had. If we ever end up back in West Virginia we would definitely stay at this house again.

Road Trip

Nice location, peaceful, good house, easy to get into town, comfortable beds, good showers, lounge and kitchen/ dining area. However, the VRBO details were misleading. We believed that there would be 4 queen sized beds as opposed to 3 and we had to make do with blow up mattresses which did not work. There were no instructions in the house and there was also a lack of kitchen utensils, wine glasses, cutlery and ancillary items. There was only one tea towel! We would also have expected that a house of this quality to provide some basic bathroom items like shower gel, body lotion etc

Quiet spot perfect for families

This house is perfectly situated in the South Hills area of Charleston, incredibly convenient to anywhere you'd want to go. My dad and I were there for a long weekend of cycling and mountain biking and found it to be exactly what we needed. Lots of space to spread out. Comfortable furnishings as well. It was a bit rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the 2 massive decks on the back of the house, but they would be great for winding down on a dry evening. It's less than 10 minutes to downtown restaurants and about the same distance to some cool neighborhood eateries we found, including Fernbank Public House, which we'd recommend checking out for dinner on your visit. The host was very responsive to the few questions we had and incredibly accommodating. Overall, I would highly recommend his property to anyone looking to visit Charleston.

Wedding Weekend in WV

Wonderful home with 2 bedrooms upstairs with main living with living room, kitchen, dining room, and main bathroom. Has deck out back of main living floor. Basement could have been a whole separate living quarters; with one bedroom and bathroom, washer and dryer, its own living room, and a deck out back. Wonderful neighbors with wonderful animals that my kids enjoyed playing with. A lot of wildlife. Quiet street, on a cul-de-sac. Property owner was very responsive. Will definitely stay again, if in the area.

Property manager was amazing

We came to the area for a Wedding. We drove there the day of (3-1/2 hours). Instead of having to stop at a rest area and get dressed for the wedding, The property manager allowed us to check in a little bit early so that we could change and then go straight to the wedding. It was truly a lifesaver and kept us from feeling stressed out.

Girls Weekend

This was a halfway meeting spot for a girls weekend! We had a great time and the house was perfect for our needs. Rodger was super responsive and great to work with. The house was clean and newly updated with everything we needed. It was super close to downtown and directions made it easy to get to.

Family came from all over to visit Charleston for USA Cycling National Championships. Plenty of room to spread out, and Rodger was very helpful during our stay. Great visit!

A lovely getaway

The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I was particularly pleased with the beds. They were very comfortable. There was everything we needed although bath mats for the showers would be nice. I was a little surprised that there wasn’t any soap for the showers, something we have found in other VRBO rentals. The host Roger, was very helpful and responded to my questions very quickly. Thanks for that Roger.

Wow, I can’t even come close to articulate the right words on this wonderful property. If it wasn’t for the property, or the location, it was for the neighborhood. The kindest neighbors with amazing four legged furry friendlies I’ve ever been blessed to meet. Make sure you meet Gary and his beautiful lab buddy. Rodger is the greatest host, and is also ex military (Thank you for your service).

Visiting Father

This house was the perfect house for my family to stay in. We are a large family with children of all ages from babies to teens, the rooms were perfect the deck was amazing for hanging out, the property even had a grill so we of course cooked out. This house offered all the amenities EVEN EXTRA AIR MATRESSES!!!!! Everything was spotless and anything you could need was provided. A couple of neighbors stopped by when we were outside and we’re so so sweet. Staying here made us all never want to go back home to Missouri. From the fresh coffee in the morning and foggy Mountain View, to the deer sleeping in the backyard while we hung out. This place is amazing and in an amazing area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

THE BEST STAY EVER

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house worked very well for my sister with her 3 kids and myself with my 2 kids. We were all very comfortable with plenty of room to spare. It is a nice clean property that is close to shopping and restaurants. The host was excellent as well and very responsive when we had questions. Make sure you look for an email from the host with the door code. I missed it but he was very helpful.
