8/10 Good

Loved the place but did not have water when I arrived.
The place was great, I just wish the water was on. The valve is down stairs in the bathroom under the sink, it is a copper pipe read below for on and off. I wish the guy who reviewed it would have said where the valve was so I had water. Below the copper pipe you can read on and off. this way you can turn the water on yourself. In my situation there were 2 leaks above the ceiling so they are going to fix them for the next guest. The staff was always answering my calls and text and I appreciated that. I will go back here next time I go up. The surrounding area was very nice. My rating of 4 was only due to not having water all weekend not the home or Vacasa.

Summer Maybe Better To Stay
The driveway and stairs are slippery and dangerous. We cleaned the stairs and landing ourselves and brought up sand for the driveway. The thermostat is downstairs so to heat the upstairs you must build a fire. The problem is the wood provided does not fit in the fireplace. The cabin has charm, but could use some needed organizing, decluttering, and maintenance. With fees and taxes this home is not worth the nightly charges.

2/10 Terrible

Cabin was fine, management was poor and left us with no water for the first day
We (3 of us) arrived after 4 hours of driving through the snow to discover there was no running water (faucets, toilets, showers). Being familiar with cabins in the sierras that often turn water off to avoid it freezing in the pipes, we looked for any instructions about turning water on/off but found none. There was nothing included in the checkin procedures, and minimal paperwork we found in the cabin didn't mention anything. Calling/texting the support line said we wouldn't hear from anyone until the morning, leaving us with unflushed toilets and no ability to shower or brush our teeth. I looked around the cabin in all obvious places (by hot water heater and washing machines, in all closets that I could access, outside around the property in the snow at midnight, etc). The next morning we finally got a call directing us to the master water shutoff and then it was quickly turned on and resolved, but then began weeks of texts trying to get some modest compensation for not having running water for 1 day of our 3 day visit. I delayed writing this review hoping to have it resolved, but as of this posting, it has not been. The cabin was great, but the management support has been abysmal. Details about water being shut off should be well documented and part of check-in procedure, as well as documented a the binder in the cabin. Lacking that, a simple acknowledgement of the oversight and fixing it for the future plus making a small accommodation for the inconvenience should be handled promptly and not require yet more of my time to try and chase down.

Long weekend getaway
We decided to rent Ticket to Ride since it's close to Sugar Bowl. Impressed with the cleanliness and location, but would recommend more instructions about the place. Received wrong door access code and water was not available on arrival. Had to call a rep for help. Overall, great place and highly recommended!

6/10 Okay

Some good some bad
The house had a rustic feel to it which we enjoyed. FYI, the entrance of the home requires you to climb two flights of stairs. During our stay, the AC did not work. It was during the summer times so it reached more than 90 degrees. Our sleep was not ideal. Other than that everything was good and location was close to north end of Tahoe.
