It’s a great location but I don’t recommend this cabin. It was not very clean, a lot of things were very expired and it was just clear it hasn’t been maintained much. It also wasn’t clear on the description that there is someone who lives on the property. In the same house, just downstairs? It’s just awkward and I wouldn’t have rented if I had known that.

Thanksgiving family reunion

We live in the neighborhood and needed extra room for family to sleep. This house was perfect, right on Donner Pass Road, clean and cozy and walking distance to our place and downtown Soda Springs.

Ski weekend

We had a great time in Soda Springs. The house is super close to Sugar Bowl, Tom was extremely responsive to any questions, my kids absolutely adored the decor (my 5-year-old said it was her "favorite hotel ever!!"). Very much appreciated the safety gate at the top of the steps. We hope to return next time we are in the area to ski!!

Great place near x country trails

Crystal was wonderful. The backyard was a perfect snowy playground and we loved being so close to Royal Gorge x-county. Only thing missing is a fireplace or hot tub :) but the place was warm and clean

A cozy condo very close to Sugar Bowl

We stayed in this cozy condo for 4 days in March. LOTS of snow and great skiing at Sugar Bowl, which is 2 miles away to gondola. Condo was very clean and well stocked kitchen. Check in quite easy. There is a steep stair case which might be challenging for a family with small children.

Clean and cozy cabin

Thank you for sharing your home with us. This cabin was perfect for our family of 4 during our ski trip to Sugarbowl. The heating system was a series of electric wall heater and was comfortable in February. No dishwasher but that wasn’t an issue for us. The cabin was very clean.

Great cabin near skiing

Very conveniently located for skiing at Royal Gorge (within walking distance), Auburn Ski Club, and Boreal. Well-stocked kitchen and nice bathrooms. Comfortable for four adults. The Wifi didn't work, but that wasn't the reason we were there. One of the wall heaters didn't work, but we relocated a portable heater from the bathroom. The water heater ran out of hot water after about three showers, but we coordinated better after that. Overall would stay here again.

The home was well appointed, with for example a motion sensor light in the staircase, plenty of towels and hooks for towels, and many places to hang things up and put them away. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we cook a lot. The location was convenient for our main activity - cross country skiing and was easy to find, the entry procedure straighforward.

This apartment is almost walkable distance to Sugarbowl gondola. It is close to the train tracks but we only heard that noise once or twice during our weekend stay. The footprint is tight and the kitchen allows limited cooking and eating space. Our 3-person family enjoyed our stay.
