Clark Suite - Millpond Inn
Completely refreshed in 2020, the home sits in the historic area of the Village of Clarkston. This suite, named after brothers Jeremiah & Nelson Clark, for whom the village was named due to their contributions to the town. We've taken the bed & breakfast, originally opened in 94, & modernized it for our guests. Rather than a traditional gathering for breakfast you will find a continental breakfast in your suite, or you can visit one of several restaurants and cafes in nearby downtown Clarkston.

Millpond Bed and Breakfast was started in 1994 by the previous innkeepers. They proudly ran the inn for 25 years, and only sold their beloved Millpond when they decided to retire. The current owners of Millpond purchased the bed and breakfast in late summer 2020 with a clear vision, a passion for hosting guests in the historic inn, and a dedication to the guest experience. The global pandemic necessitated some changes to the original plans, but did not alter the final vision for the refurbished and redecorated Inn.

The Inn provides unique, private suites for every kind of traveler to the Clarkston area: families visiting loved ones or celebrating life events in the area; friends looking to reconnect and explore Clarkston; business travelers seeking a quiet, comfortable space to focus and recharge; couples wanting time alone to dine in Clarkston’s famous restaurants or to attend local festivals; and soon-to-be residents needing a headquarters to search for their new home. We welcome all guests who find their way to Millpond and who are searching to experience and honor the beautiful community spirit found in historic downtown Clarkston and the surrounding area.

Millpond allows guests their privacy in their suites, yet offers a beautiful garden and yard area for guests to mingle and enjoy the communal barbecue, two separate outdoor seating areas, and views of Clarkston’s Mill Pond. We hope our guests love the Inn as much as we do!
