The house was perfect for 5 adults and an active 4 year old. The open floor plan gave us plenty of room for activities while cooking big meals. The bedrooms were comfortable. Having a garage for storing bicycles was a plus. The house was well stocked with extra bedding and towels, and the kitchen had nearly everything we needed for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Overall, we were very comfortable.
The house was clean and cozy and a short drive to anything we wanted to do. The host was kind and responsive and there were no crazy rules or hidden things to do at checkout. It is just what you would want and expect. I also appreciated the well stock coffee bar!!! My only recommendation would be more towel bars or hooks in the bathroom, but I recommend that for most any bathroom :) Book a stay here - you will not be disappointed!
Property manager was kind to let us drop off our stuff early at the place. Place was cute. Bathrooms were kind of dirty and master has very slow drain in the sink and the shower. Front Door did not lock when we’re not inside the place. I messaged her to let her know on Friday and she didn’t respond until Sunday when we checked out and I let her know the house was still unlocked. Very kid friendly. Nice big fenced backyard.
This was a very nice place. It is worth noting that it smelled like skunk, literally. A skunk sprayed around there and the smell lingers. The owners are clearly aware as you can also smell unsuccessful attempts to mask the smell and there was a portable air purifier running. You get used to it after being in the house for a bit, so it wasn’t a big deal to us two guys. But it was quite apparent upon entering the house both initially and any other time after after leaving and returning. It might bother someone a lot more than it did us. Pricing should be lower considering the smell. Otherwise it was on par with anything else I’ve rented on bike trips to bville.
