At the Stafford River House we have direct access to the river from our backyard where you can go swimming, fishing, kayaking, or even paddle boarding. Our house has central heating and cooling, a Nest system, to keep you comfortable for the times you want to be inside relaxing. Our home has a rustic woodsy vibe to it. Being here is more about time together, being in the woods, watching birds, using the dock and river to enjoy the natural setting. We are located on a quiet older established neighborhood.

A wonderful location nestled in the trees with a river in the back for family fun. Cozy living room for all to hang out in. Stairs are required to get to the front door and bedrooms so if you have elderly folks with knee issues, discuss with them first.
My family and I enjoyed our stay here, we would definitely book again. The view of the river is nice. We were not too far from grocery stores or restaurants either.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed the natural beauty of our river cabin
Incredible spot to enjoy family and the river! We stayed 2 nights and had a blast. Host was fantastic. Cooked on the grill and watched the Dodgers. Lots of amenities and beautiful scenery. We are planning a return in the fall if everything aligns. Thanks again. Highly recommended. Anything less than a 10/10 review is very unfortunate for this place. One of the coolest VRBO spots we have stayed.
Thank you for sharing your feedback we are glad you and your group enjoyed our river cabin for your long holiday weekend

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The photos did not match what we expected. There is a lack of cleanliness as the coffee maker was moldy with old grounds, light fixture hanging from ceiling, blinds broken in bedroom, window don’t lock and toilets dirty. Recommend getting repairs, cleaning company and landscaper.

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words.
We enjoy the peace and serenity that our river cabin in the woods can offer. Especially during the holidays
Beautiful, quiet getaway with an expansive river views and access. Just a little bit outside of Portland. The house is an updated older river home, comfortable and with an impressively large series of decks.

We are delighted that our river cabin and its location allowed you and your group to have a fabulous break
The Stafford River House was an amazingly unique property. We loved hour beautiful and peaceful the location was and yet it was very close to a major interstate. It was very convenient to travel to our excursions. Check-in was seamless, the home had all the amenities we needed including a reliable wi-fi connection. We enjoyed our 2-night stay very much!
Beautiful property and stay. Would highly recommend to others and stay again! Perfect size for our family and had everything we needed. One of the highlights of the trip was canoeing down the river as a family! Thanks for the memories!
Great place for our group of 6, nice proximity to Portland and stores. The view is fantastic. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Thank you Scott for your kind words. We are glad to hear your group enjoyed what our river home had to offer, as much as we do. And the awesomeness that is Portland!
The pictures are accurate. This place is nice and clean and sits right on the Tualatin River. There are three decks to watch the river go by and kayaks available. Great spot
Stayed here with a group of friends for a bachelor party. The house was clean, there was plenty of bedding, plenty of cooking utensils so that we can cook our own meals, plenty of spices, and more than enough boats and paddle boards for all of us to go on the river and have a good time.
Very comfy, would stay here again.
