About this property

Dramatic Ocean Views - Fantastic Location - REDUCED RATES!

Our Villa is located in Building 28 at The Ridge. It is one of the 2 best located of the 29 buildings at The Ridge. The Villa has 2-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms and everything including access to the Villa is ground level. The master bedroom has a king size bed (with the same mattress found at the Ritz Carlton) with an adjacent private enclosed lanai. You can hear the waves crash as you fall asleep each night. The Villa has been renovated and is beautiful in every respect. Both bedrooms and the living room have high-definition, flat-screen televisions. The living room also has a DVR. There is a large wrap-around balcony off of the living room which affords world-class views of Molokai, the beaches, the Plantation Course, the Ritz-Carlton and the West Maui Mountains. We offer free wifi internet access. Please take a look at the video as well as the still photographs.

It is perfectly situated within the resort. The walk to the Kapalua Beach is under 5 minutes. As well, you can easily walk to D.T. Fleming's beach, Napili Bay and Oneloa Bay. The snorkeling and diving is superb.

For golf, the Kapalua Resort has the world-famous Plantation Course that is a challenge for even the best golfers. The Plantation is the home of the PGA's Sentry (formerly Mercedes Benz) Tournament of Champions a AS A GUEST OF MY VILLA, I CAN PASS ALONG TO YOU THE RESORT RATE WHICH WILL SAVE YOU APPROXIMATELY $30 PER PLAYER ON THE PLANTATION COURSE.

Regrettably, the Bay Course is currently closed with no date set for re-opening. It was going to be completely remodeled but for now, that is on-hold.

The Kapalua Tennis Club is also a very short walk from our Villa. There is a community pool available immediately outside and in the pool area are gas grills for cooking.

The Kapalua Resort has 100 miles of trails planned from the mountain ridge to the coastline for walking, hiking and horseback riding. You'll find trails for all hikers and they weave a diverse tapestry throughout the resort's land holdings. The Coastal Trail offers a unique chance to wander along the coast through different terrains. We think it is a great way to start a morning.

All in all, this offers a great value for a memorable vacation. Don't pay the high prices from the Kapalua Villas or other rental pools. This is the EXACT same unit as they offer at a fraction of their charges. The Villa will be clean when you arrive and cleaned when you leave. If you would like additional cleaning, it is available at an extra cost.

There is a reason why Kapalua is world famous. It is a gorgeous spot and one that all ages will enjoy.

Peter was super responsive, when we had an issue or two to work out upon our arrival. Overall, the place was prepped well - towels, starter toiletries, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. Very clean. Wifi worked, TV worked, kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals.

I was nervous based on recent reviews, but I can assure you the unit is clean and well appointed. The location is great, sweeping views of Molokai and Oneloa Beach, walking distance to Dragons Teeth and the Sea House. The kitchen was very well appointed, everything was there. Plenty of linens. Communication was great, Peter responds in actual minutes. Ask him for a pool code, so you don’t go without. A great homebase.

Wonderful stay in paradise

Our family had a wonderful stay in Kapalua. This rental is spacious, clean and so quiet with expansive ocean views. We took full advantage of the fully stocked kitchen for cooking at home and loved having the pool just a few steps away. Also proximity to great beaches for snorkeling. We would happily stay there again.

We loved staying here. The views are incredible and you can see whales from the lanai. Easy to walk to the beach and trailhead. Most restaurants are in Lahaina which is about a 15-20 minute drive. Would absolutely stay here again!

The Views Alone…

I fell in love with this Villa the moment I walked in the front door. When I was looking to purchase a unit, I looked at many others in Kapalua. When I saw this one, I knew I had found the perfect match. I have been in real estate most of my life and I understand the meaning of location and view. This has it all and after 40+ years, I can't wait to come here when there is the chance.

Why they chose this property

I had visited Hawaii several times since 1959. Of all the wonderful Hawaiian resorts, Kapalua offered the best combination of fantastic snorkeling, safe and fun beaches, all levels of dining very close by, and world class golf at the famous Plantation Course. When I saw this particular unit, I had to get it. The views are unsurpassed, the location of the Villa offers privacy not available elsewhere and the layout is perfect.

What makes this property unique

I am an avid golfer, snorkeler and scuba diver. The bays at Kapalua are sensational for both activities. The resort offers one championship golf courses. The Plantation is home to the PGA's Sentry Tournament of Champions. Also, Napili Bay is within a 2-minute drive or 5-minute walk. Kaanapali and it's hotels and Whalers Village, is about a 10-minute drive. Between those places you can find all sorts of dining at all price points, types and qualities.
