Our large group enjoyed our stay! From the amount of parking for our 7 trailers, 7 utvs, and 7 trucks...we appreciated the space. Being able to walk right across the road for water access was an added bonus, so we brought our pontoon. Up as well and had great nightly cruises after our UTV adventures. It was nice to be able to get on the trail right across from the rental. A few things not known was that one of the bedrooms was connected to the door access to outside and was also connected to another room to have to move through for people to get to. The staircase upstairs was extremely tight to use for several of our party, as we are all adults and this circular staircase is very narrow. Changing up the stairs would be a much appreciated change for the space and an easier access for the 2nd floor. Overall would highly recommend this space for anyone traveling with a large group. Thank you for a great stay!

Parking was a little tight for two trucks and large trailers. Would want to limit count to 6 people. Water has a slight odor. Sleeping arrangements rated “ok”. Trail access is good and general location for sledding is good.
Our family and friends visited the Keweenaw to go look at waterfalls. While some of our vacation was a busy, the house is amazing. Very clean, has all the essentials, and a very nice beach area. We had 12 in our group and fit comfortably

Loved the openness yet privacy provided. Family really enjoyed lake view!!
Property was just as described with a beautiful view of the lake. Campfire area was clean and plenty of room for our group to gather around. The deck is huge with a view of the lake. Plenty of beds and all spaced out nicely. Property was clean and had all the essentials that you may need and not think about. Communication was speedy thru the entire process. Definitely worth the stay! Thanks for having our group!
We felt right at home immediately in this beautiful house on the lake. The setting was peaceful, the house had everything we needed and more, and the location was perfect for visiting places throughout the western UP, from the Porkies to Copper Harbor. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a glitch at check in because we didn’t get our code in advance. Fortunately, the neighbor who is the caretaker of the place gave us the code shortly after arrival. The kitchen was fully-equipped and very clean as well as the rest of the home. Great place for a short vacation with family. Fishing, swimming and boating were the highlights. Lots of room for everyone. Would definitely book again!
Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! House was clean, spacious, well furnished, and comfortable. Beach was lovely. Host responded to my question immediately. Appreciated being able to vacation with our dogs. Would definitely love to stay here again sometime.
Spacious and clean with great views. The sandy swimming beach is fabulous! Host was responsive to all communication. They have a dock and we were able to utilize it for our rented pontoon. Slept 12 comfortably.
Very nice location and house. The spiral stairs to the upper level were a little narrow and a handrail would help from the garage into the house but otherwise a wonderful place and highly recommend. We would definitely book again.
Thanks.

A little too pet friendly, for non-pet people
A very nice place that we enjoyed, but many little quirks that got to be too many. Many broken things when we arrived -- toilet seat, window cranks, and a sliding external door that would only close (and not lock) with a slanted piece of wood. There was also a VERY strong chemical smell in three of the rooms that made some rooms unusable during our stay, and others needing windows open (on hot times) all the time -- that should be addressed! The biggest problem is that it was not clean related to past pets. Pet hair was on the coach, and a lot of hair was found in many of the beds - also under the top blanket and between the cover and sheets. This bad surprise also sent several of us looking for other beds. Sorry, we are not pet people, so this was a big negative for us to find so much pet hair in beds, and on cloth surfaces! We were struggling to find rooms and beds that we clean of pet hair and not smelling of strong chemicals, which takes a lot away from the stay. Very nice location, and house though, aside from these many issues. So may issues we could only give 3 stars.
