Very beautiful cabin. We loved our stay here, the property managers were accommodating and helpful. We loved the hot tub and the mountain views. Great place to stay.
We had a lovely time at this cabin. It was perfectly spacious and comfortable for our family to enjoy some time away. It is a pretty steep drive to get up to it, and we ended up staying put whenever it was dark so as to not have to drive up and down in the dark. However with the hot tub and a beautiful porch, we didn’t miss out on anything. Would stay here again
Meet up with a couple of friends from back home for a long weekend adventure. The cabin was perfect with easy access to Gatlinburg and the surrounding area. The host were easy to connect with in regards to a few small things. We had everything we needed for a great weekend. Absolutely would rent again!
We had a great stay at Bear Crossing.
Clean, comfortable and close to SMNP.
Plenty of room for my husband and I and three adult nephew and nieces.
After hiking each day it was wonderful to come back and relax. Close to town but a very quiet neighborhood.
My family and I had a great few days! We saw a bear, fire flys, and enjoyed a very relaxing few days in the mountains! The cabin was wonderful, clean, and just what we were hoping for for our vacation!
We stayed three nights while visiting the Smokey Mountain National Park and surrounding areas. Our cabin was clean, conveniently located to a variety of activities and our host responded quickly to any questions I had. We had a great experience at the cabin and would definitely stay again if we came back to the area.
The size of the house fit our family very well. The location of our house was pretty central to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Overall, we would be happy to stay at this rental again in the future.
The cabin is adorable and in a great area. We even saw bears multiple times. The only negative we have is the beds aren’t the best and the kitchen windows could use blinds (the sun shines right in and it’s hard to
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin close to Gatlinburg. Liked that the furniture was solid and higher end. Same with the bedding. Super clean. Enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and claw tub. Definitely would recommend it.
We stayed at Brooke's cabin for 6 nights in August 2023 - 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 7, 6, & 6). The cabin is gorgeous, very spacious, and was spotless when we arrived. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is fully stocked. Communication with Brooke before and during the stay was excellent. The location is ideal - it's close to Gatlinburg, without super windy roads to get to the cabin, yet still high up enough to have a beautiful view. We loved everything about this cabin and I very highly recommend it!
This cabin was perfect distance from town. Still getting the mountain view experience but not the long drive to town. Cabin was very spacious for 6 adults and enough bathrooms. Hot tub was clean and felt great after a long day of hiking. I recommend this cabin to anyone who is coming to this area. Four mile drive to the Food City Grocery and gas station. Located on the far end of town.
This cabin made our family trip special. Immaculate and well-appointed, it was perfect for our stay in the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. The giant bath tub was perfect at the end of a hike and we loved the rockers on the back porch. The hot tub was a luxury. Brooke was an amazing host and very responsive. This cabin is conveniently located. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. A terrific experience.
During our stay we loved the simplicity of getting to the cabin, the ease of getting in and out of the cabin as well as the space and room around both in and out of the cabin. We spent many of hours playing games on the nice large kitchen table and loved being able to be in the hot tub and watch a bear come up the hillside. The only draw back was their was some minor cleanliness issues that could have been avoided. But overall we had a great stay and definitely look forward to coming back next year.
The cabin is absolutely beautiful inside and out.
It was occupied by myself, my two children and their spouses, and one 4 year old granddaughter. We all loved it and there was not a single complaint.
When setting on the back porch or around the fire pit, you have a spectacular view of the surrounding hill sides. We even had a couple bears walk through.
When you are ready to leave the solitude of this hilltop, Gatlinburg is just minutes away.
We will definitely remember this cabin for future stays.
Location: great. close enough to what we need but far enough to feel like a getaway. less than 5 minutes to grocery store and gas station, about 11-12 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg
Cleanliness: seemed like cleaners needed to spend more time on the floors and counter tops. rooms were tidy and neat. more attention to cleanliness would give the property 5/5 stars for sure.
Space: as advertised, main floor master was large with en suite, two upstairs rooms had plenty of space, upstairs bathroom also very spacious, upstairs loft with arcade and pull out couch, main living dining space good size, back yard looks like they are still improving , but the back deck and fireplace area was great. one downside is the positioning of the property across the driveway, that property's fireplace is somewhat close to this property. When those guests are having a good time by the firepit, the noise is very clear in the master suite. We were able to drown out the noise with white noise from our phone.
Overall: Would recommend and would stay again
The size of the cabin (1500 sq ft) was a little worrying when we booked this cabin. HOWEVER, it’s perfect. The bedrooms are huge. We had a pack in play in one bedroom and still plenty of room. We had four kids in the queen bunk room. There was tons of space for toys, 4 kid suitcases, and snacks. The tv in there had Disney plus, so that was perfect. The hot tub was wonderful and the highlight of the kids’ trip. The moving Island in the kitchen was so nice. We moved it all over to make room for Lego building and to have the kids sit while they ate. This was seriously the best experience we’ve had in a cabin. Oh, and for reference, we had 4 adults and 5 kids (one baby). The claw foot tub in the main master was also fun for the kids and relaxing for the moms. It’s close to everything- 3 miles to Gatlinburg and maybe 8 miles to Pigeon Forge. The traffic sucked, but it was expected on a holiday weekend. We used backroads as much as possible. We will be back. This was perfect for our families.

We started coming to Gatlinburg in 2012, we got married there in 2014. We purchased our first cabin in 2016 and it burned down in the fires only 2 months after we purchased. We rebuilt the cabin in 2017. We recently built cabin number 2 and have number 3 in the works. We hope you enjoy Gatlinburg as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
This property is located inside the city limits. Its not high up so you don't have the winding roads but you still get a view. Downtown is only 5 min and Piegon Forge is only 15 min away.
What makes this property unique
The cabin has two front porch poles that were salvaged from a amish barn in Jenera Ohio dated 1890. The mantel was salvaged from a farm house dated early 1900s. All the logs and beam are true hand hewn logs. The kitchen table and coffee table are made from left over logs that were used to build the cabin. We hope you enjoy your stay in a true Hand Hewn log cabin.
