Spent the weekend in Pittsburgh, perfect location! Host was responsive very quickly. Everything we needed to make it a great weekend. Would definitely stay anytime we’re in the Pittsburgh area.
We had a very nice stay. Check-in was quick and easy with the no issues or problems. House was well decorated with plenty of amenities. Just be aware the internal stairs were very steep and the bathrooms and the bedrooms are on separate levels. Very close to the city, restaurants and attractions.

Very nicely remodeled house in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Kitchen and bathroom were fully upgraded. It was very comfortable to stay in the summer. No dedicated parking, but was always able to find parking in front. its a short but hilly walk to GrandView avenue and the overlook, and a short drive into downtown Pittsburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Everything was super easy, we didn’t have to do any extensive cleanup and check out was completely painless! Super great location, but parking is limited. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!
Loved the stay! Home is very welcoming. Love the modern look. Stayed to go to a Steelers game and was super close to the stadium. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay again. ❤️
This home is in a nice area and close to the city. The on street parking is a bit difficult especially when returning home later in the evening. We loved the fenced in yard for our little dog 😊
Family met in Pittsburgh for a fun weekend. This home was perfect for our needs, very clean & comfortable. Yes, the stairs are steep, this is Pittsburgh, it’s quite hilly. We enjoyed our stay centrally located to downtown, Carnegie Science Center. We ate @ Johnnys Diner on the way out, too. Loved the incline and the views.
Had to come home to Pgh, family emergency. Our rental was the most pleasant part of our trip. Beautiful house, very nicely decorated and comfortable. Location is perfect. Sarah is a wonderful hostess. We would definately stay here again, her prices on all of her rentals are very reasonable without skimping on anything. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Loved it.
I want to commend these property owners. The property was immaculate and it was real easy to find. Sharon was very nice and responded in a timely fashion to our requests. The neighbors were cordial and welcoming. This was an amazing getaway for a couple's weekend--Cozy, warm, and just the right space. We will be back very soon!
Perfect place to stay with friends for the Penguins game. Sarah was very helpful and always replied super quick. We got in around noon and decided to get lunch, I contacted Sarah and she let us in just over an hour early which worked out perfect for us. House was very clean and ready for our stay. Tight but cute neighborhood was getting some work done but that’s nothing. Would rent again
My wife and I took a trip to Pittsburgh and this was a wonderful place to stay. The location was very nice with nice walking views of the city and some nice restaurants. Our host Sarah was great to work with. She communicated with us at all times and even provided us with a later check out since we had a late flight and she didn't have a new guest coming. Overall, everything was as advertised. The only caveat, and this had nothing to do with Sarah, was that the two bedrooms where upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. This was not a problem for us, but if someone has a mobility issue they should be aware.
We had a great stay while visiting our son who is a student at Pitt. Great neighborhood within short walking distance to Emerald Park and it’s many hiking trails which our dog loved. You can also walk to the inclines with great city views and restaurants. The house has a nice fenced in yard and friendly neighbors. It’s only a short drive to the University area and any city attractions. We had a nice dinner at Bingham Tavern. We paid attention to the description of the property having a lot of stairs and we did just fine. Property was very clean.
My family and I really enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at 233 Seward and look forward to coming back. The bedrooms were spacious, all interiors were updated and the kitchen was sufficiently well equiped to cook our Thanksgiving meal (with minor exceptions that were not a problem).
The only issues were
* parking on the street was spotty (but not really a problem overall)
* the cable television channels had intermittent reception, but the Roku allowed us to binge our Netflix shows easily.
* Stairs are steep and the bathroom is on a different level than the bathrooms, but again, this was a minor inconvenience.
Nearby, the Duquesne Inclince was fun, and there are lots of high end restaurants to visit. Walking along Grandview really did give us grand views of Pittsburgh. Neighbors were either friendly or kept to themselves.
We enjoyed our stay even tho our Pirates vs Mets unfortunately got rained out and rescheduled. We were in close walking distance of the Dusquane incline. We also walked all the way to the strip district. There was about a half hour wait to get back on the incline to head back to the house but we probably picked a high traffic time to go back. There are also no bathrooms but a portapotty which we weren't aware of until we got back to the top and the toddler needed the potty. It was a mad dash back to the house. We went to the zoo and aquarium which wasn't a far drive away and there happened to be a lantern festival going on as well. The only thing we didn't pay attention to during our booking was that the bathroom was only a shower. Our mistake as our 2 year old isn't too keen on showers just yet, but we made it work. She did enjoy seeing deer randomly showing up at the neighbors back yard in the morning. We cooked a few meals while we stayed and had majority of all we needed to cook meals. The only thing we purchased was aluminum foil, but the kitchen was decently stocked with most of what you would need. The stairs inside the home were steeper then we expected, but that just meant we had to make sure the 2 year old took her time going up and down. She enjoyed sleeping in such a large bed. We would stay here again if we plan another trip back. The only slightly confusing part is cars parking in all different directions which we aren't used to as we are from Jersey. We also had easy communication with the home owners and they were quick to respond to questions prior to the stay and a few random questions during the stay. Overall we had a great time.
nice property and well taken care of. everything was in good order, well taken care of and owners are available if anything needs them. parking can be tight, but that close to downtown, is expected having a full-size truck.
Couldn’t have picked a better place for our Steelers weekend getaway! The place was great very clean felt brand new! Sarah was quick to respond to alll my questions. We walked to the Duquesne Incline walked to Station Square and took the Gateway Clipper Fleet Shuttle Ferry to the game! Convenient and fun! On the way back we got to the top of the incline and walked across to a local bar/restaurant, all within walking distance!
Myself and my boyfriend traveled to Pittsburgh for the weekend with another couple and had a terrific experience. While the exterior of the property threw us off at first, we were pleasantly reassured that the interior matched the photos online and that the property was well maintained. The location of the property was perfect for getting around to different areas of Pittsburgh and our group enjoyed the scenic views from the famous look out points nearby. My only caution is that if stairs are an issue, this property may not be for you as the staircase is very steep and the bathroom and bedroom are not on the same level.
The property was amazing! We were in town for a wedding and this house was everything we needed. It was close to a park for our toddler to play. With the most beautiful views just minutes away.
The location is in kind of a weird neighborhood, in that it's a little bit dirty. That being said, the inside looked great and things were in good working order.

About the host
Hosted by Sarah Wilson
Hey! My name is Sarah, and I would love to host you at one of our amazing properties! I am a resident of the neighborhood and just a few short blocks away with my Labradoodle wolfhound Copper! We love this city and are always happy to share it with new people! On the weekends you will usually find us around the Mount Washington area, either walking one of the many hiking trails in the Mount or just up Grandview Avenue (best view of the Burgh). My family is from Pittsburgh, but I have always loved to travel. I moved to Nashville and toured the country singing with my band. It was amazing, but all good things come to an end so I got my business degree. I lived in Australia for a while too! This world has so many amazing places to go - I still have a very VERY long list. Even with all of that, my heart is still here in Pittsburgh, so this where I started my business and now call home. Thanks for taking some more time to check the place and my profile! Please reach out with any questions!
