This place was perfect for our family! Lots of room and a great cozy vibe. Everything you didn’t think you’d need was already there. A true home away from home. Will most definitely return in the future.
Five stars for sure - great place, super comfortable (even when the weather outside was challenging) with a very friendly and responsive host - next time me and my family are in the area, we’ll for sure be staying here!
The home was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped to cook nearly anything we wanted. The host was very thorough with communication. We kept our boats docked at the property which was super convenient and the nearest ramp is literally around the corner from the house.
We love this place! This was our second visit and we will be back! It’s so peaceful and we got to know a few of the neighbors this time! The cabin is very spacious and comfortable held two adults and four teenagers! The most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had!!
Great cozy getaway with the family of 9 and 3 of our puppers! The kids loved fishing and kayaking in the evenings. Along with roasting smores at the fire pit. Definitely plan to stay again in the near future! Highly recommend!
We had a great time and loved the house. It was cool and clean and met all of our needs for a quick getaway with family for the 4th! The house was big enough where we could all spread out to relax. Loved the dock and the view was beautiful!
Enjoyed my stay, we roasted marshmallows, fished and really enjoyed our family time for Thanksgiving. I brought things i thought we needed but after being there i realized he had everything i brought already. Plenty of games roasting sticks, was just very well stocked with everything you need. The property is beautiful and well maintained and neighborhood was friendly. We will definitely be back in the spring to explore more fishing and staying here again. Oh by the way owner was very attentive and was just a phone call or text away for any questions.
We very much enjoyed our stay here! The property was clean, adorable, and just what we needed for a family trip. The proximity to many Florida and Georgia State Parks was a plus.
So peaceful and beautiful. The grandkids loved it. They fished and had s'mores. They even saw an alligator. I absolutely loved the deco and the kitchen had everything I needed.

About the host
Hosted by Alex Reddish
I am an Asst Chief for the police department and my wife is a school teacher. Folks are always relieved to stay at our property when they find out what I do for a living, you never know what kind of people you are renting from now days. My wife has always wanted a lake house. We looked for a while and found this home. We bought it in July of 2021. She enjoys sitting on the screened in porch looking at the lake and I enjoy fishing.
Why they chose this property
How peaceful it is. Sitting on the back porch in the mornings or evenings with great sunsets to view. It is rural, however, you won't hear planes, trainings, traffic, or sirens at our property. Just the occasional bass boat passing by.
What makes this property unique
Close to the highway, but at the end of Hwy 253 close to "Trails End". Peaceful neighbors that are very easy going. Close access to boat landings, there are 5 within about 6 minutes of the house, with one being 3/8 of a mile. Access to the water from our dock, large 1 acre lot for plenty of parking or area for the kids to play in.
