Comfortable vacation home in the heart of Franconian Switzerland

3 bedrooms for 6 adults and 1 bedroom for adults and for children with an extra loft bed and a double bed, gr. WZ, bathroom and separate toilet, huge dining room table for 8 people etc.

Families and climbing groups as well as cross-country skiers and skiers are very welcome.

In the house you will find many amenities. The spacious main room consists of a living and dining room (approx. 60 m²). The living room is equipped with a large dining area, TV, DVD / CD player and large corner couch. The fully equipped kitchen has a ceramic hob, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine etc. There are 3 double rooms, 1 children's room with 2 cots and a sofa bed for 2 adults.
The main bathroom has a shower, bath and sink. The guest bathroom above the toilet; Wash basin and barrier-free shower.
The house has a large terrace equipped with garden furniture and a parasol.

The garden offers plenty of space for children with a sandpit and small inflatable pool. A grill on the outdoor terrace invites you to cozy evenings under the open sky.


And if the weather does not play along - there are endless games for big and small because we also live in the house from time to time and we are also a large family.

Hiking or Cycling: There are 4 hiking trails in front of the house. Around Betzenstein there are 30 marked hikes with approx. 300 km for all demands, from the flat stage to the via ferrata (Eibgrat). Highlights are the natural history circular walk (42 km / 2 days) and the “orchard meadow path” from the Bund Naturschutz. A section of the “Wasserstein” circular route is suitable for the disabled and is therefore easy to use for wheelchair users and prams. Other leisure activities:
In addition to the extensive hiking network, there is one of the most beautiful heated outdoor pools in Franconia and Germany's highest climbing forest in Betzenstein. There are many opportunities for climbing, horse riding, golfing, fly fishing and bowling in the area. With bicycles you can go on excursions to the nearby leisure and western park (Franconian Wonderland) or to the game reserve in the Veldensteiner Forest Nature Park.

There are guided cave tours, a summer toboggan run and a rock pool (approx. 10 km).

For the children, the Nuremberg Zoo, the Playmobil-Land in Fürth and the Thurn Castle near Forchheim are worth a little further away.

The historic cities of Bamberg, Regensburg and Bayreuth offer beautiful day trips.

For bad weather there is the Frankenalb-Therme Hersbruck as well as the Therme Obernsees (approx. 30 km each) for wellness and water fun.

Climbing / free climbing: The Franconian Palatinate offers a lot of challenges for experienced and less experienced climbers around the communities of Betzenstein, Plech, Neuhaus, Auerbach, Velden, Hirschbach, Hartenstein and Königstein.
