The approximately 150 year old village house is located in a lively, authentic and non-tourist village in the middle of the Languedoc wine fields around Narbonne near the Canal du Midi and about a 45-minute drive from the Mediterranean. The boulangerie for the fresh baguette or the patisserie is a 2-minute walk away. For the daily meals, the terrace in the courtyard-like garden offers peace and privacy. On 183 square meters of living space and 150 square meters of garden there is plenty of space for family and friends. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room with fireplace, reading lounge with additional sofa bed, kitchen and dining room were completely renovated in 2013 and tastefully refurbished.

Great Location, poor communication

the upstairs lounge was fabulous, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were good. No information on house or appliances and access to outdoor furniture which showed on the website was terrible. In a crowded and dirty garage where we heard mice and therefore didn't attempt to move furniture outside. Lots of owner's belongings all over house which made for a lot of clutter. With a good property manager who was available close by this would be a great VRBO. Lots of leaves and dust in window and door wells though the rest of the inside of the house was clean.

We are sorry Anne did not find everything completely to her liking. We might just point out that the terrace furniture and decorations seen on the pictures are available under protective covers in the garage. It is to every guests preferences how to use them and we might add that a southern french countryside garage is just that. Apart from that we do provide a pdf to our guests with info on the house and the region. As you might read from other reviews, guests have so far appreciated the personal feel of the house.

Une maison où l'on se sent bien

La maison est située dans le village de Canet qui est agréable, calme et avec plusieurs commerces (très bonne pizzeria, boucherie, boulangerie). La maison est top, spacieuse, reposante et on s'y sent vraiment bien. En sortant de la maison nous arrivons très rapidement sur des chemins de balades (vélo, à pied) . La proximité du canal du midi en fait un endroit très bien situé mais également pour rayonner dans cette belle région.

Geräumig und ruhig

Hallo, wir haben in diesem sehr schön und ruhig gelegenen Haus wunderbare Ferien mit 6 Personen verbracht. Das Haus ist sauber und alles ist vorhanden, was man benötigt. Da wir gerne kochen, waren wir besonders von dem großen und modernen Gasherd begeistert. Diese Gegend ist auch sehr gut zum Joggen geeignet. Bereits ca. 200 m vom Haus entfernt kann man wunderbar und kilometerlang durch Weinfelder joggen oder auch spazieren gehen. Gerne werden wir auf dieses Haus in einem unserer nächsten Urlaube nochmals zurückkommen.
